I've been here numerous times and usually during happy hour during the week and really like both Stewart as Harold they are both super nice people and always treat people well. The only reason it's not 5 stars is because I've been there a couple of times at night and the staff isn't as friendly
I was just there on a Sunday afternoon , just arrived, visiting from France for two months. I came with my assistance dog (but forgot her proper harness and assistance dog tags back at my Airbnb). Nevertheless, the guy at the door, super welcoming, was super nice to let us both in. Of course my dog is trained to be well behaved and ultra clean at all times in public, and she does look after me - she’s a medical alert dog. Another Ace gaybar in Dallas. What treat it was to go here. It's filled with sweet people who treated us like family from the get-go. Pool table, very clean and well decorated. Drinks were refreshing and inexpensive. The barkeep was particularly kind and handsome. At all costs go here!
