We have dined at the del Frisco's Double Eagle in NYC before and always loved it, so we decided to try the Dallas location while in town. The food was as expected - spectacular! The atmosphere was “okay" and our server could have been a little more friendly and accommodating. He was a little snippy and impersonable to be honest - not someone you'd expect at a high-end restaurant. Otherwise, the experience would have been well-rounded and excellent.
The food was great. The service not so much. Got there at 7pm didn't leave till 9pm. Took over an hour to get our food. The steaks were cold but still had a good flavor. Our drinks were never refilled.
Chris was wonderful...so friendly, knowledgeable, gave great recommendations and attentive! The food was superb and the live music gave the evening the perfect vibe! Will definitely be back!!!
