The Douglas is a nice restaurant, but it's pretty small. Unless you're in a booth, it really feels like you're at the same table as neighboring parties.We weren't super impressed on our first visit 6 months ago, but we went back last week. This time, the server said they've stopped carrying the wine we ordered, and the next closest option was $40 more a bottle. It was good, but not as good as the one they decided to stop carrying. Incredible dining experience! Staff were outstanding, food was outstanding, service was outstanding! We couldn't have chosen a better place eat and experience on our last day in Dallas! Can't wait to visit again! Still dreaming about BBQ platter and that Incredible stuffed bacon bbq jalapeño ?

The restaurant has a very nice ambiance and is beautifully decorated. Both the food and service were excellent. We opted for the 2-meat combo, and both the ribs and brisket were outstanding. Our sides, the fries, and the beans, were also excellent. The Caesar salad was generously portioned, perfect for two people.
