Disappointed in service, food and atmosphere. Food: nothing to rave about, and one of our dishes was undercooked (not meat) and when to mentioned to the server he said thats intended - I highly doubt anyone wants to eat raw dough, but OK! The server was inattentive and seemed to just want to move along to the next course rather than ensure we were satisfied with our current course.
Now to top it all off, I went to the restroom, which was a mess - toilet paper all over, unflushed and unflushable toilets.
I had high expectations for this place, unfortunately I was disappointed with the food. Apple bees is still a better choice in my opinion for what they are charging I was expecting more.
Drinks were decent & the scenery was good but that's about it. Definitely would not recommend for a special occasion.
Managers if you're reading this remind your servers to smile & remember the menu + orders! The water guy was star of the show cheers to him.
My husband and I visited for the first time to celebrate his birthday. The place is beautifully decorated and has a charming atmosphere. The food was delicious! We tried the Peruvian ceviche—I'm from Peru, so I was hesitant at first, but it truly impressed me.The salmon and salad were perfectly prepared, and the cheesecake was absolutely delicious. Our server was also very kind and attentive, which made the experience even better. We loved everything and can’t wait to come back!
I would never be back. They charge me $25 for a glass of coke when it was supposed to be hennessyVSOP & COKE. THERE was no VSOP IN it. The only thing that was decent was the lamb lollipop.
The food was beautifully plated and delicious! Dessert was a must.
We had my birthday dinner here in April. The food and service was fantastic!
If I can give them no stars I would. I ordered the red wine braised short ribs it came Sharp Cheddar Grits | Balsamic Brussels Sprouts. There was no taste to the ribs no spices added, the grits were horrible and sprouts were so dry. My husband ordered the PRIME BEEF TENDERLOIN SLIDERS
Gorgonzola | Crispy Fried Onions | Horseradish Demi-Glace. They were so dry and very hard to chew. We also had appetizers and they had no taste. Only thing that was good was their wine and coke. I have never left a bad review somewhere I ate, but with the price we paid for a good meal it was just awful. Our waiter was nice and that's about it. We will not be back for sure. Very disappointing 😞 Also as I'm reading at other reviews, it's a shame that the manager can't reply to people on their rating.
I love their lamb chops so bad I haven’t had them in and while and I’m just on my couch thinking about them. they’re so good I had to make sure I rated them weeks later. Great customer service from the outside staff to inside staff I love them!
This is our favorite pre-show place for dinner! Amazing food and service and close to the Winspear.
Great meal! Great service! The menu was fun and offered some great choices. The goat cheese appetizer and fig jam were sublime. The salmon was cooked perfectly and the pappardelle was excellent. The atmosphere was very relaxed. The staff were friendly and gave us time to enjoy our evening out.

Daysiah was an absolute gem of a server and was very attentive and helpful. Unfortunately, the food just completely missed for us. My wife ordered the breaded chicken and I ordered the lamb special. My wife's entree was good but nothing to necessarily go brag about. The lamb was supposed to be accompanied by a cucumber and mint orzo but I opt for the chedder cheese grits and sadly the grits were painfully bland. The sauce was supposed to be Bordelaise but was extremely acidic and really just inedible. I didn't even try the lamb because I knew I wasn't going to enjoy the dish if I didn't enjoy it as a whole. After sending the dish back, I was shocked that a manager didn't check in and ask how we were doing or even to get more clarification on how they missed. Overall, the waiting staff was fantastic and on top of making our experience pleasant, however because of the food being decent at best we won't be coming back.
The atmosphere was excellent, The host, wait staff, and other crew were impeccable. My expectations were exceeded., Thank you for running an exceptional restaurant.
It was a great experience and I definitely recommend 10/10! Me and my fiancé enjoyed everything
Overall nice experience. Decent ambiance, calm setting for a date or business lunch. Always appreciate the service. Kind of a hidden gem in uptown.
The food was outstanding. We had the Volcano Salt Garlic Fries, it was a big portion! They were some of the best we've eaten in a very long time. We also had the Pork Belly Bao Buns as well. I highly recommend these! If you like Vietnamese Bánh mì sandwiches, then you will love these without a doubt...especially with the the jalapeno flair. For a main course we shared the Surf & Surf and substituted brussel sprouts since we still had so much of the garlic fries from earlier. The scallions and crab cakes were excellent, the taste was not fishy or overwhelming. We both were satisfied and very happy with our choices so far. Oh, forgot to mention that we started off with the Trip to Cabo and Capri Spritz, honestly the Trip to Cabo was the winner by far, hands down. We wrapped up our dinner with a Creme Brulee Martini, which was not quite to our liking. This was the only disappointment overall. The service was nice and timely, the only nitpick was the waiter kept trying to take our drinks and food away before we were completely finished... We've been to Dragonfly before, this dinner/food experience exceeded our previous expectations. Highly, highly recommend anyone for a anniversary or any other special occasion to consider Dragonfly as a destination for that special occasion.
