Bartender so all the wine on my purse and has the audacity to expect me to tip on an $18 tab. Did not even apologize. I had gone friday night and asked for a glass of wine while waiting thats when the guy with the pony tail messed up my pirse with all the wine he spilled

Food here was ahhhh-mazing! A place you can go to over and over, and never get tired of. My favorite dish was the snow crab scampi, which I almost didn't order I probably could have had 5 orders and I'm not a big seafood person.Salmon crispy rice was also fantastic, great flavor and textures throughout. Lobster escargot was scary to try, to be fair, I wasn't the one who ordered but I'm not a fan of escargot. Apparently, it's only called lobster escargot due to the dish it's cooked in and doesn't actually contain escargot--the puff pasty was golden, flaky and paired well.My least favorite was the pressed tuna. It has truffle oil and it was VERY overwhelming. Like, my nose doesn't even work, l've had 3 nasal surgeries and can't even smell farts...and I smelled this from a mile away. It was very potent and really killed the dish for us. The meatball was good but I think I prefer smaller meatballs although this giant one was cool to try once. Great staff, very accommodating and attentive. Bar seats are the best in the house! Will be back to try out happy hour (M-F 4-6 half off martinis and pizzas)

Nothing tops the food for me. However the service I received from my bartender and server was on point. I love delicious layered flavors and everything single dish we ordered was ????. My spicy margarita was great, Olivia was a great bartender. She was attentive but not overbearing, chill but extremely professional. Once my group was seated we had 2 orders of King Crab Rangoon, it was amazing. The Vegan Cauliflower danced all over my taste buds. I ordered another margarita and it hit the spot. Then my entree, oh the Lobster Capellini was EVERYTHING! I seasoned so so well. I was full because of everything I ate but I could not stop eating this dish. I then proceeded to order a pizza to go and three of us had to try the 24 Layer cake. I wanted to hug someone my food was so good, I overall GREAT EXPERIENCE. It took a while to get our food but we were laughing, drinking and people watching so it worked out. I'll definitely be back.Vegetarian options: Try the Vegan General Tso's Cauliflower. It's very yummy!

Very quaint. Ambience consists of old Hollywood aesthetics: dimly lit, jazz music, low ceilings, red theme. The service was quick and our server was nice and attentive.Came here to celebrate a milestone in my sister’s career. We got the following items:Appetizers:- SPICY SALMON CRISPY RICE: Were going to get the hamachi ponzu, since that’s a favorite of ours, but glad we didn’t because we get that everywhere. This was my favorite item of the night. The salmon simply melted in your mouth.- VIN SCULLY FRIES: Got this without bacon. Definitely not your average run-of-the-mill fries. The cheese was rich and flavorful.Entrees:- Dry-aged demonico: ordered it medium rare, but felt the temperature was closer to medium. I also thought the char made it slightly salty. Was told this would be very tender, but unfortunately it wasn’t.- Shep’s Hawaiian ribeye: wife ordered this medium, but the temp was closer to medium rare - which worked for me, but was alright for her. This was flavorful and if I came back, would get this instead.Edit: wife also mentioned that the ginger marmalade was great. However, the ginger was strong, so if that’s something you’re iffy about, steer clear.- Ozzy’s: mom and sister shared this pizza. Since we do not eat pork, we got it without the onion jam. I saw a lot of rave reviews about this pizza, but I do not get the hype. Maybe it’s because we didn’t get the onion jam. Aside from the pieces of filet, this felt like something I could get from fireside pies at half the price.Sides:- Chili garlic broccolini: AKA regular broccolini. Could not taste the chili garlic.- Cauliflower dynamite: good.Dessert:- Jojo’s strawberry layer cake: the way it was cut, made it to where we gave my sister the piece with all the icing - deservedly so. However, that left us with pieces with minimal icing. Without which, the cake felt very dry and NOT sponge like. Would not recommend. For upscale restaurants, given the amount of money paid, I expect food that is not only unique, but also extremely flavorful and interesting. Something that truly challenges my palette and consists of varying flavors. Unfortunately, Drake’s did not deliver in that aforementioned regards.Disclaimer: I have extremely high hopes for upscale restaurants. Having been to places like Nick & Sam’s(Dallas) and Saison(San Francisco), I know the heights fine dining can reach and hope to be treated with similar experiences whenever I visit similar places.Unfortunately google does not allow half star ratings, so I will have to round down to a 3.

This was a wonderful experience. Even with the restrooms, they were so clean and very well kept and smelling good with an expensive candle. The food was delicious, the lobster mac and cheese is a must try and the garlic and broccoli is a must try when it comes to sides. We had steaks and they were cooked perfectly medium like I like it. Our server was very sweet and very nice to us. She also gave us her opinion on what she felt was good and on top of that she was beautiful. I will definitely be returning to this place by myself. I took my lady here for her birthday and the cake came out in one big slice with a sparkling candle and they do have different options.

Decided to have a Girls’ Night at Drake’s as we were wanting that old Hollywood vibe. They offer valet as there’s limited street parking (there was a wait to park and pick up your vehicle as they only had two people working). You’re able to wait at the bar (open seating, no RSVP needed) when waiting on your full party to arrive. They definitely don’t honor the dress code as people were in there with all types of outfits on. Our waitress was nice but we felt super rushed to eat and drink. I ordered the Snow Crab Scampi and Caesar salad. I did enjoy both items and the salad is plenty to share. For my entree, I ordered the Pasta ZaZa (added chicken). The pasta was good but the chicken was dry and the food came out lukewarm. I did try my friend’s Vin Scully Fries and enjoyed that. Strawberry lemon drops were my drink of choice that night and the bartender made it wonderfully! This spot definitely wasn’t what I expected but I did try it out!

First time here for my birthday dinner and it did NOT disappoint!! This place is a bit on the high end $$ but worth the experience! Everything we ordered were really good! Our server was super friendly! We ordered salmon crispy rice and loaded fries for starter. Both were sooo good! They were a crowd favorite!Steaks were cooked to perfection! Their Pasta Za Za were flavorful! The best thing of the night was the steak pizza (Ozzy). Must order for sure!!!The vibe of this place is like an old Hollywood hangout. Very classy and classic! Complementary valet and reservations is a must! Highly recommend for a special occasion!

It’s one of my favorite places and the atmosphere is great … Look there is a standard but in our culture of individuality and fashion going so many directions I just can’t determine what’s enforceable and what isn’t. If you can look past that, then, I think everything else can be enjoyable.I enjoy dinner here, and I also enjoy just coming to sit at the bar to have cocktails. It’s a vibe for sure.

Restaurant was very nice, the ambiance and decor or the place takes you back you the 60’s era. The food was delish, we only ordered appetizers and pizzas and was really good and tasty. I recommend ordering the pizza with pieces of steak on it.
