El Az De Oro Mexican Restaurant

this place may be a hole in the wall, but sometimes they have the best food at really good prices. have been going there for almost 4 years getting the large fajita quesadilla ($5.50). its absolutely HUGE!! love the lady at counter and she understands enough English to get the order right everytime.

Burritos used to be really good now the slacking they half a** prepare your food, leave ingredients off and unless you speak spanish service sucks. I order a burrito half pastor and half chicken. My burrito consisted of a tablespoon of each meat cooked beyond recognition and a tortilla full of shredded lettuce and smidge of cheese. No beans rice or jalapeno. So both other reviews are right on target with the "hood" reference. Lots of seedy characters, crappy motels and liquor stores dot the area just off I-30 and Samuel. Don't go late at night if you are female and solo. I went with my lady on a weekday night around 9:30pm and it was nearly empty and seemingly quiet.
