El Bolero - Fitzhugh

We live across the street from El Bolero & had super high hopes when it popped up. The food is pretty good but not worth the price and serving size. The only reason we ever return is for drinks & the esthetic. They do have an amazing brunch that we feel is so much more worth it than lunch & dinner!

I went for happy hour with a friend. Great happy hour specials. Margaritas (frozen and on the rocks), sangria, and beer. Margaritas were delicious. Very strong actually. The service was amazing. Our server especially, but other people checked on us as well. They seated us next to the windows with a great view and very comfortable seating. Chips and salsa were included. I came here recently, and I was pleasantly surprised. I don't understand the low ratings. First off, parking is a breeze which is amazing for Dallas. There's a convenient parking garage right across from it. There's a nice outside patio for dining, and it's pretty big inside as well. I got one grilled prawn, one wagyu, and one al pastor taco.
