Authentic, family-owned gem with true down-home charm! Every dish we tried was absolutely incredible — full of flavor, freshness, and love in every bite. The handmade salsas, tacos, and carne asada were all 10/10. You can really taste the care and tradition behind each recipe. My family and I had a wonderful experience soaking in the warm, welcoming atmosphere that celebrates Mexican culture. Special shoutout to Eric for making our visit even more enjoyable!

Stopped in for breakfast and these were the best breakfast tacos around. Simple yet delicious. We both ended up ordering a second taco each. They coffee came in a hand painted clay mug. It was so good, we decided to come back for dinner a few days later. Holy mole! That dark, delicious mole is unmatched. The margaritas are delicious and boozy. The salsa and black beans were a nice app while waiting on our food. The service was personal and we left feeling like regulars. The very cool decor includes Frida in a variety of imagined scenes, boxing greats, Selena, Cepillin, cast pictures from El Chavo del Ocho, and much more. It's attached to a small store next door with everything from snacks to soap. Thinking of that mole now, I can't wait to go back!

I have never received services like I did at this restaurant. I was really excited to try this place and drove 30 min from home.
The server took our drink order and brought it to us. I told her that we were ready but she took the menus and walked off. Didn’t even bring us chips or anything!
We had already been waiting about 20 minutes when a large family came in and sat down. She immediately ran to them, took their drink order, and took them all their drinks. And then proceeded to take their food order right in front of us! She even took them chips and salsa when we hadn’t gotten anything.
I was extremely shocked and upset. I have never received that treatment before at a restaurant. And on top of that I was starving.
We paid our drinks and left right after we saw that and as I glanced over to her, she had a smirk on her face. I WILL NEVER BE GOING THERE AGAIN. I am the type to recommend to everyone the restaurants I try. But I will 100% not be recommending this restaurant.

Sad to say these might’ve been the worst tacos I’ve had in Dallas. The beef was flavorless & the rice was crunchy. Slow service- not the waiters fault he was the only one serving and bussing tables
This is by far my favorite spot in the area! The food is as superb as the customer service. Stella and the staff are very attentive and make dining here a real highlight for any meal of the day. I have recently made this my regular spot!

In the future, please turn on the Air conditioner so your customers can eat comfortably. Several customers walked out becauseit was warm and muggy inside... we almost did the same but we decided to stay and give it a chance.
They only had one Waitress for the entire place so I can't blame her entirely for the service provided. She favored one particular table while we were there so this did upset me a bit since we waited longer than we should have.
I wanted to try several menu items to provide a good review, however we didn't even get our appetizer to begin with. The menudo tasted strange which is what I went for. I settled with the gorditas which were ok. I did ask for rice and beans on the side, which I also did not get. The atmosphere and decor is definitely there. Their Aguas frescas were on point! This was the only thing I truly enjoyed.
Sadly, we will not return.
