My husband I have been eating here for years. Aleays a great experience. Tonight that changed. They used to serve real chopped tuna in their rolls and ahi tower. Tonight it was orange ground something. My husband wouldn't even eat it. I hope this was a fluke or supply chain problem. I will ask to see the tuna before i order again. If it is the ground stuff, i will never return.

My wife and I absolutely love this restaurant! The staff and ambience of this place sets it apart from any other sushi place I've been to. The food is terrific! I've never walked out of this restaurant without a smile on my face!
You turn in off Frankford to a sushi restaurant tucked behind a chicken express and next to unassuming neighbors, but I promise you you’ll be hard pressed to find something that matches the love and effort chef puts into his work. We have been blown away by the service and quality we experience every time. We are sushi veterans and have go to items, but the staff loves to listen and offer quality suggestions. In my experience, the chef would occasionally surprise us with a bonus plate or two or even a cheeky shot of whiskey or two! Everyone has been present and kind, regardless of how of they may be. The people at Fujiyama love what they do and it shows. I always recommend this spot as one of my go to places to get sushi, plenty of memorable meals with wonderful people. Seabass sashimi is a MUST. Salmon belly sushi and sashimi are amazing and I can never get enough. The tuna is also always incredibly fresh. I could go on and list half their menu, but I recommend just sitting at the bar and chatting with their chef. You will not be disappointed! I no longer live in the states but it will be the first place I go to when I’m back.

Enjoyed the pork katsu bento box and spicy salmon roll. Food was very yummy and came out at a good pace. Came in for the late night happy hour as did a few other guests. Highly recommend for a casual sushi.

I had a very underwhelming experience at Fujiyama. We ordered nigiris, the hamachi collarbone, and also the most promising sushi roll on the menu. And in summary, it was all very very average in taste, and not worth the price point.
