Goodfriend Beer Garden & Burger House

10/10 recommend! Goodfriend has everything you want in a great spot. The dog-friendly patio is super comfortable with fantastic cooling, the food is delicious, and the music, atmosphere, and service are impeccable. We will absolutely be returning!

Long waits and is a beer garden but doesn’t do flights??? I asked the waiter and he laughed and said no because it would have to be a huge flight… like no bud how flights work is you let the customer pick beers for the flight. For example you do 6 beer flights and the customer picks from the list of beers. This is pretty standard for breweries/beer gardens.

Not a place for elderly, people with disabilities, or kids. It’s so dark inside you can see, my daughter was trying to walk to a table and tripped over the stage!!! Do not go here if you have trouble seeing or walking.

great food. service of food almost too quick... felt rushed

I recently moved to Lake Highlands with my wife. This place is our new favorite bar. Where to begin…the people. The staff is so kind and caring, it’s a breath of fresh air these days. Most of the staff will introduce themselves to you, ask your name, and genuinely make you feel like a person they give a damn about. And on top of that, the food is OUTSTANDING!!! It’s the best breakfast tacos I’ve ever had, period. The burger is excellent. My wife had the crunch wrap and loved it. Even the salads (yes one time we felt healthy, don’t judge) are fire. I love the rotating local beers to try and they always have the top sporting events on the several TVs in the establishment (Oh, and no one gets annoyed if you ask them to change another game). This is now my and my wife’s favorite local bar and their commitment to excellence is so appreciated. They also own a local pizza and coffee spot nearby. I don’t know the owners, but it’s obvious their culture transcends all its locations. Bravo Good Friends!

Goodfriend Beer Garden & Burger House was a solid dining experience. The burger was cooked as ordered and came out in a reasonable amount of time. The staff were attentive and checked in without being intrusive. I also appreciated that the menu was straightforward and easy to navigate. Overall, the consistency of the food and service is why I’m giving it 5 stars.

It doesn't really get better than Goodfriend.

Their food and drink selection is absolutely top notch! They are closed Monday and Tuesday, so just make sure of that, but their hummus plate was so fresh and delicious! I ordered their crunch wrap and it was out of this world! Can't wait to go back and try some other options from their menu!

Service was good. Clean place. Did not enjoy the food very much. I had the chili'd to the bone burger and it was disappointing. Never had a chili burger i could pick up with my hands and eat without needing a napkins. Just kinda boring

The fries and beer were great, but what made it amazing was the service from Alex V! He knew what he was doing and made our night so special.
