Green Point Seafood and Oyster Bar

I love the food, service and atmosphere at Green Point. One of my fav GoTo eateries in Big D. Highly recommended!!

From the forgettable name to the slow service, Green Point just barely makes 4 stars. It’s more of a 3.5. The fish was decently good but nothing unique or special. The gumbo was above average because it was “meaty” and flavorful. My favorite part was dessert-the chocolate chip cookies were excellent. For the price, there are too many other good restaurant options where I’d prefer to go.

Went for brunch on a Sunday. Had Oysters, fish sandwiches, and their burger. Everything was very good. Great service & friendly staff. Will go back.

Had a great lunch experience! The ambiance was warm and welcoming, perfect for a quick lunch or cozy dinner. The menu had a great variety, and every dish we tried was flavorful and beautifully presented. The staff was attentive and friendly without being intrusive. It’s clear they care about quality and guest experience. Definitely a spot I’d recommend to anyone looking for a good seafood meal in Dallas.

I've eaten here three times now. Two dates and a family meal. The food is good to great. Everything is full of flavor and hot/ fresh. The lobster roll and the fish and chips are two of my favorite. It's odd to me that the reservations are usually so full on the apps and when I walk in, the dining room is relatively empty. We eat early (6 or so), but you'd think that would make it even more readily available time in the apps. Seems they hold lots of tables for walk-ins. Due to location, I'd never drive to knox to try and walk in, but I understand the principle. I also think this restaurant is a bit overpriced for what it is. As I'm writing this review after eating at Omar Flores new spot, Even Coast last night - the value is pretty stark. Even Coast was as good or better, cheaper, prettier and easier to get in and out of. But to stick to Greenpoint, the staff really sets them apart. They have some INCREDIBLE wait staff that is tenured and professional. Definitely worth stopping here, but maybe not as often as I like since there are closer spots to me that seem to provide better value.

We had the BEST experience. This is a neighborhood spot for my friends and I, and Ryan made us feel so special. Not only did he make room for us at the bar, he continued to show top notch customer service at a trendy Dallas restaurant which was so refreshing! Gerry also was so kind and helpful! Thank you for making my friend feel so special on her birthday!

It actually tastes like some dropped the salt bottle in the tuna melt. I had to throw most of it away due to how disgustingly salty it was. I’ve been here a few times and have had decent experiences but the tuna melt just ruined my want to come back.

I really enjoyed my visit to Green Point, Jasmine and Ryan made me feel so comfortable and they were both so kind! Thank you so much for everything! I highly recommend their burger, it really hit the spot and their garlic aïoli tasted incredible with both the burger and fries. Their frozen mango margarita was so refreshing and it reminded me of a juice but with tequila. Their banana pudding was the most delicious pudding I have ever had! I truly enjoyed the kindness from the staff and the food was so delicious! Thank you! I’m excited to return!

We came from Atlanta & enjoyed our dinner. Food was good but Mackenzie made our experience AMAZING!!!! She was extremely kind & attentive, even on an extremely busy night! I would come back just for her service!
