Lively atmosphere, the person taking our order whas helpful in describing the menu as it was our first time. Fried chicken was good, was very happily surprised to have more than average grits. They actually tasted good unlike many places. Not too salty or bland just right.

I have loved this place for many years now. The food is so good! When they decided to move out of deep Ellum we started coming to their new place. And at the beginning they were firing on all cylinders. You can tell all of the bosses were in town, the food was perfectly seasoned, the fries were amazing, but now that time has gone by, their quality is lacking.
