The bbq was good. Brisket was a little fatty though. Turkey was a little dry but it usually is at bbq places. The chicken was good. Spicy dry rub. The fries were good. Decent Mac and cheese. I had the regular and my boyfriend had the other one. The onion rings were pretty bad though. Wayyy too much batter, the onions weren't sweet and fairly flavorless, just not crispy at all. We ended up taking them home and putting them in the airfryer. They got crispier but were still...
This was my first time eating at any Heim location and it was delicious! I had the Heim sampler with a side of pinto beans and couldn’t be happier with my choose. I also had the Blonde micro-brew beer which was tasty. The service was excellent as well, I was attended by Stephanie and she went above and beyond. The location is close to the airport so next time I visit Dallas I am definitely gonna stop here first!
Causal atmosphere with great food. If you are ever by Love Field, this is a must try. Loved the brisket, chicken, onion rings, green chili mac and cheese, and twice baked potato salad. Compared to Hutchins, the food and price were much better!
