Cute place! Great staff/service. The pork and cabbage dumplings were good. However the other food options were bland and flavorless.

Totally legit! Owner’s family is from ShanDong Province. I am ShanDong too. They have a Taiwan touch to the food. My fam from Taiwan too. Don’t say it’s not authentic (it’s northern only and not exactly Beijing…but BJ is the capitol and has it all, right?) It is legit northern Chinese food. Xiao long bao (soup dumplings) excellent…best in town—-you have to ask for the ginger and vinegar sauce, so ask for the ginger and vinegar sauce! Za Jiang Mien (Peking meat noodle) spot on, really best in DFW (and I have had it everywhere). Beef noodle soup authentic with a lot of beef and the correct bok choy (that is important)—we make this, so trust me ingredients are right! Shrimp zucchini dumplings awesome… we ate one pan fried version there, ordered another serving, and took another serving home—this ostensibly is a US twist but dang good. Pork bao with a lot of meat and delectable. Spinach and peanut cold veggie—-lots of garlic the right northern amount—-I have never thought to do it with spinach and peanuts—-creative. I will eat too often here!

Not super authentic but okay. Rice meatballs were pretty good. Soup dumplings were alright, didn't come with vinegar and ginger. Beef noodle soup was below average but okay for American taste buds. I would recommend if you are looking for a cool spot to hang out and not for authentic flavor.

Great atmosphere and wonderful service. Food was lacking flavor. We had the pork with Napa cabbage (boiled) and beef with carrots and onions (pan fried) as well as the chicken bao. Our drinks came after our meal had been eaten so we were thankful for the self serve water at the counter.

Recommend the Peking style noodle bowls. Very good taste and portion at a fair price.

Excellent service and food. Went with the fam and we were very satisfied with all the different items we picked out. The scallion pancakes, sesame noodles, and vegetarian rice balls were our favorites. Would definitely recommend.

At Hello Dumpling, culinary artistry meets a casual oasis, crafting an experience that transcends the ordinary. This gem offers a laid-back atmosphere where comfort intertwines with gastronomic excellence. Each dish is a masterpiece of fresh ingredients, meticulously and freshly prepared to order, ensuring a symphony of flavors in each and every bite. The handmade dumplings are nothing short of divine. Filled with carefully selected ingredients, they boast an exquisite balance of tender and crispy textures, consistently delivering a taste of perfection. These dumplings are a testament to the culinary dedication and skill that define Hello Dumpling.Their noodle dishes are a harmonious blend of simplicity and complexity. The handcrafted, long noodles are enveloped in sauces that are straightforward yet rich in depth, tantalizing the palate. The Sesame and Shanghai noodles, in particular, are my two personal favorites, offering a unique and memorable flavor journey. The Hunan rib is an unforgettable delicacy. Each succulent piece of meat is enrobed in a perfectly sticky, sweet coating, with a spice balance that is nothing short of a culinary marvel. It's a dish so exquisite, it's worth every indulgent bite. Make sure to get plenty of napkins - you’ll need them!!Then there's the smashed cucumber salad, an embodiment of refreshing perfection. A melange of fresh diced cucumber, garlic, oils, and vinaigrette, it's a dish that provides a delightful respite on a sweltering day, yet equally enchanting during the chilly embrace of a winter solstice night like tonight.Complementing the extraordinary cuisine, the service at Hello Dumpling is the epitome of warmth and accommodation. The staff's friendliness and genuine eagerness to please make every visit not just a meal, but a cherished experience.Hello Dumpling isn't just a restaurant; it's a culinary haven where every dish is a celebration, and every visit leaves you longing for the next.

Got takeout and was stuck in traffic so I got there 20 min later than anticipated. The girl at the counter was so sweet and offered to remake the dumplings so that they were fresh/warm. 10/10 service and the food and boba were also really good!! Will be back to try other items on the menu❤️

Came here for a late dinner looking for some dumplings and was severely disappointedI got an order of the Shanghai Noodles & The Pork and Napa Cabbage Dumplings. Both were lacking lots of flavor. The Shanghai Noodles felt very flavorless and even when adding some chili oil, the noodles itself were just plain. The dumplings were only a bit better, as i hoped being a dumpling place, but was still lacking some flavor. They were also not very crispy for being pan fried dumplings, and not very flavorful. Our table also had the Braised Beef Noodle Soup, Grilled Chicken Soup Noodle and Bao Buns, all which were nothing special.Service, ambiance, and decor is all nice and cozy, but the food itself, especially for the price, is nothing I would go back for.

Nice spot. Love the atmosphere, the outdoor seating on a nice day out. The food was tasty, and lots of options for vegetarians! The owner was super awesome. I came with my 4 little ones and he was super attentive and hospitable. Genuine, friendly place. First time ever trying dumplings, and the vegetarian ones were tasteful. Will be back.Kid-friendliness: There’s a space outside of the restaurant for the kids to get fresh air and run around.
