Incredible German Chocolate Cake, and very reasonably priced. It was packed on a Saturday but we ordered ahead which helped. Definitely recommend!

We got a black foret cake for my birthday from this place. Drove all the way from Fort Worth to this place because of the good reviews. Only to realize it has absolutely no flavor with too much no flavor icing and no chocolate flavor what so ever. I expect to be reimbursed as this was the worst cake ever served for my birthday. There's nothing German about this place's flavors.
My sweet daughter loves to get my personal favorite cake BLACK FORREST for my birthday every year. This is her go to bakery. The cake is wonderful and the staff is so helpful adding the Happy Birthday banner just to make it even more special.

Food was excellent. Friend got the schnitzel and the sourkraut and potatoes were absolutely delicious. I got the chicken pesto sandwich with extra cheese and it was to die for! The pesto is one of the best I've had. Dominic primarily took care of us and he was extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the menu and drinks. The little shop was also amazing! We will definitely be back!

I hate this place.... why?
Because everything is so darn good I want to eat it all. THennnnnn after a yummy sandwich you can't help but stop and get 1... maybe 4 slices of cake to take home with you.

I've lived in LH for 22 years and have gone to the Mexican restaurant Casita many times and I always thought that Henk's was just a deli and bakery. Well thanks to a friend who told me they had restaurant, and some of the best food in town we went there on Tuesday 9/9 and the Bratwurst and sauerkraut were amazing. I went back today 9/12 and had their Rueben and again fantastic along with the family service. Having grown up with European food as a kid back in the Midwest, this was such a great place to find! This is a must go to place, don't wait.

Very busy place but we got there right about when they opened which seemed to be perfect timing, but they have a lil store if you do have to wait for a table! Gold was amazing and service was great even with the business. Definitely coming back!
