Service was great! Waitress was so sweet and helpful. Unfortunately the food was not worth the price. Lackluster bbq was way too expensive. Not worth it. $21 for the brisket plate pictured.

Wasn't served because im "in uniform" i was wearing an allied universal guards jacket............ allied universal doesn't have anything to do with DFW AND I'm not in uniform. Poor service disgusting attitude.

Was completely ignored by staff and management. Never came to check on me once. I do NOT recommend this place at all.

HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE customer service. I would walk across the entire airport, and sprint to catch my flight last second than come back here for food.

When I asked for the refund, the gentleman was fine, but the bartender completely was unprofessional NOT even saying sorry. Deflected and did not want to acknowledge she messed up

This place has THE absolute WORST service!! We sat ourselves and waited…and waited…and waited and no server came by nor acknowledged us. I finally stood up and two servers were only 2 ft from us. I realized why they hadn’t come by….their heads were buried in their phones!!! I realized then, the only reason they were there was to bring your food to you…and that’s it! We had to keep asking for more refills, napkins, etc. NO communication from them. And every time we had to ask, we were tearing them away from their phones. I could tell the bartender was even perturbed at them. The only reason I went there was for breakfast…which is advertised as “all day” on the airport kiosk. Guess what? They stopped serving breakfast at 10:30am….claimed new owners changed it. WOW!!!

I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. While the food was okay, the atmosphere and staff were very unfriendly. I wasn’t given a menu and was forced to use a QR code to order, which required me to input my credit card information—something I was uncomfortable doing. To make matters worse, a warning popped up saying that if I didn’t close the tab within 40 minutes, I would be charged automatically.

I asked if I could pay in cash, and they said yes, but when it was time to pay, they didn’t have change for a €100 bill (my order was over €20). I also noticed that other customers were treated much better—they received physical menus, ordered verbally, and paid the bill at the end as usual.

When I questioned the staff about why I was treated differently, they claimed their manager instructed them to push customers to use the QR code. This explanation didn’t convince me.

The uncomfortable atmosphere and unfair treatment made it hard to enjoy my meal. I won’t be returning and cannot recommend this place.

Tall female bartender working on Wednesday afternoon on November 27 was extremely rude to me and approached with a nasty, defensive attitude. Not sure what her deal was, but she totally killed the vibe before my flight. She seemed miserable and bitter. Apparently every bar in Terminal D sells an espresso martini on their menu but when ordered, the bartender tells you they don’t have coffee. (You scan the QR code at the counter to place your order and the cocktail menus are identical at all of them. Not sure if it’s a matter of laziness or what but either way, not the customers fault you can’t deliver on what’s on your menu. No coincidence that 3 bars in a row tell me they are out of espresso and to try the next place.)

If you are hungry don't waste your time here. I ordered the most expensive item on the menu, the pepper crusted brisket. Is not enough even for a kid and no flavor at all. On top of that the waitress never brought me my drink.

Surprisingly fire!!!! Highly recommend the brisket quesadilla. Very high prices, as typical of airports. Our server was attentive, but other tables didn’t seem to be so lucky. Would definitely eat here again if need be.

If you have an extended layover at DFW, stop here. Nice laidback place with good food and service. The brisket sandwich is excellent with just enough sauce and cheese, letting the brisket stand out. Mac and cheese is really good but I was blown away by the coleslaw. Not your typical coleslaw, it’s made with a vinaigrette, red onions and cilantro. The best I’ve ever had.

Wish I had seen the 2.2 rating before I ordered. Got the brisket. It was barely warm, not tender at all. Very low score for brisket. I hoped for better, but it wasn't that good. I wouldn't choose this place again.

We ordered food to then be told they didn't have what we ordered, I then ordered somthing else and only received half my meal. When I then explained I didn't want it anymore the waitress was very rude. She shouted through to the kitchen "the tall bald man doesn't want his food anymore" for a stranger to describe me this way I find very offensive. The food was way overpriced for the quantity and quality. Service was disgusting. One of my colleagues i was dining with was charged for more than he had. I am looking forward to my dinner on the plane as it will be much better.

If you’re looking for that authentic Texas barbecue experience while connecting through DFW, then PLEASE skip this place. Pictured is their “pepper crusted brisket,” but there is no pepper, no crust, and the meat is pretty tough. Oh, and this plate was north of $20. Wish I had read the reviews before wasting money here.

So me and two friends flew in from Tokyo this morning with intentions to grab some good Texas BBQ. So went to this restaurant call hickory BBQ inside the DFW airport. The food was cold the ribs were dry as hell and the bacon Mac was horrible and the cheese wasn't melted. Ask to speak with the manager and, like the Dallas fan he was he ran away without speaking to us. Bad management, but the service was ok.
I wouldn't recommend this spot to a anyone. Bad business and horrible food.
