Great service. Shout out to Carlos. The food was alright, had beef brisket and sweet potato fries, and had a chicken sandwich with mac & cheese. Also had a beer. Food was good, but room for improvement.Total for food and drink came out to $52.00.

Had the brisket sandwich today as I passed through DFW. I'm glad I asked for sauce, it needed about 4 packs (HeinZ BBQ) to get it moist enough to swallow. Not much flavor as the meet was dry. I'm also surprised that a BBQ place didn't have a BBQ sauce only packets. The lady at the front was super friendly tho.Sweet potato fries were yum.

We didn’t eat the food so unsure how good the food is here but we had to clean off our own table and waited for 20 -25 min and never got even got greeted so ended up going elsewhere.

Scalloped mac and bacon are nice, pepper brisket was tender but flavorless. Toast was bland as hell.I added more pepper manually then there was on the brisket whole cooking process. It's airport Faire.

After a long weekend of work, my friends and I sat down for a glass of wine before our flight. They denied our IDs (that were real) and were very condescending when doing so, if we had more time before our flight I would have asked for a police officer, but we didn't have time. Very disappointed in this service.

Very average. Out of fries. Mac and cheese was not appealing.

Uneatable - one bite and I walked out. The table behind me sent their food back as well and left.

The two slices of brisket were well smoked and tasty. The coleslaw was completely dry shredded cabbage with no type of sauce. Speaking of sauce, the BBQ sauce was maybe vinegar and au jus? It was thin and had nearly no flavor. This was TWENTY dollars? Nah. Even at an airport that's robbery.

I bought this and a minute made apple juice. The girl at the cash register asked if I wanted sauce for that. I told her I did not know because I've never had one. Her comment was okay thank you bye. If she had told me that they don't come with sauce on them already I would have took the sauce she offered. Twice I told her I had never had one so I didn't know if I needed sauce. So here I sit with a barbecue pulled pork sandwich with no barbecue sauce that I paid $23 for it and a Minute Maid apple juice. As I walked away I told her that I would definitely not recommend them to anybody. I have not eaten anything since about 3:00 this morning and it is now 12 hours later and this is what I get to eat before I get on my next flight.

Hickory at DFW wasn't so "Hickory". About the best aspect of my meal was the service. As for the food.....meh. I ordered the pepper smoked brisket with their "baked" potato salad. It also came with two pieces of Texas toast of which one was flavorful with their butter, the other...meh, just white toast, no butter applied. The brisket is shockingly only two pieces and not particularly thick. Again, not much "smoke" to them. The bbq sauce people have raved about is a honey bbq which is interesting but not for me. I prefer a more smokey or brown sugar sauce, so to be fair, its a preference thing. As for the "baked" potato salad, lets be honest, restaurants don't generally back their potatoes but rather boil them. It was not only a cold potato salad but again, bland. It could've used a lot more salt or flavoring. The seating area was reasonably clean though the hostess did seat me at a table that needed a wipe down. To be fair, the waitress saw that it was dirty and immediately wiped it as I was sitting down. So I'll give her points for that aspect as well as her overall service. As a bbq I asked if I could have "extra bark" on my brisket but she hadn't a clue what I was talking about. Given what I got it really wouldn't have mattered and not her fault. Her service was probably the one aspect that exceeded expectations and tipped accordingly. The bill came to $26.13 without tip which was expensive in my opinion even for airport food for what I got. I think Salt Lick in Terminal A gives you more taste and meat for the price you pay there. Next time I'm coming through DFW I'll hit Salt Lick again. Sorry Hickory, you didn't meet expectations especially being in Texas of all places.

Do not eat here. By far the worst place to eat in DFW airport. We ordered two brisket hamburgers and were served two cold, overcooked, and overpriced beef patty burgers that tasted like dirt. To make matters worse, two of the three servers that were there were upset and also rudewhen we asked why we were served a two burgers we didn't order our waitress responded, that's all we have sorry, we don't have a brisket burger. To avoid drama we paid our tab 41.00 for two disgusting burgers and left.

Surprisingly acceptable airport food. They were out of brisket, but I did manage to get the brisket burger. Some healthy options available.
