Yesterday at Hillstone in Dallas, my three-year-old son and I experienced a transformative moment when two women and staff members openly discriminated against us. My son was being a normal, nap-deprived child, and I boldly advocated for him when the women behind me demanded I 'control' him and for him to “be quiet”. Hillstone is a popular spot with consistent food and great mixed drinks. The wait for a table can be long, but sitting at the bar ensures excellent service. With easy parking, it's a favorite for many. The cheese bread is a must-try, and the rooftop view adds to the experience. Reservations are recommended, especially on a busy Friday night, but popping in unannounced can also work. The food and cocktails are always perfect, and the service is always exceptional. The red cabbage has the best flavor. The pork chop had a very good flavor as well as the mashed potatoes. This was hands down one of the best restaurants. The service was impeccable, the food was delicious and other menu items caught the eye. The atmosphere strikes the perfect balance of cozy and vibrant. The menu offers something for everyone. The Kale and Pulled Chicken Salad did not disappoint, packed with fresh mint, herbs, and crunchy peanuts, it was flavorful, satisfying. The spinach dip is another standout. Service was exceptional—attentive and friendly without ever making guests feel rushed.
