I've only been once, so I've not really gotten to know it well enough. I love a picture of downtown that is on a window where the skyline is lit up. People were watching the basketball game. There's a patio where people were hanging out. Private club bring your ID so they can be compliant with TABC rules. It seems small.
I don't drink much anymore, but a friend of mine was kinda celebrating last night. We a BLAST for the hour we were there. At first I was surprised at how busy they were, until I met Marshall (bartender). He was extraordinary friendly, super nice and very patient with my indecisive order. Would definitely go back whenever he's working.
This is a great little neighborhood bar. The bartenders are all fabulous. I was looking for a place to go as a woman alone and not get hassled. This was the place. During the football games, the jukebox is off and you can hear the game. The pool tables are in good shape and it's easy to find someone to play with.
