Love Jakes but the last 2 visits to pick up some take out didn't go well because they are either too busy to watch the details or just not paying attn. Twice Ive ordered the chicken club with fried chicken instead of grilled and didn't get it either time. Suggest checking the order well before heading home with it.

The burger has no flavor, you just taste the lettuce/tomato/onion. Poppy seed bun I didn't care for either, ask for a regular bun. But honestly, just go down the street and get a whopper, its cheaper too.

Can you PLEASE deep clean the soft drink machine & that general area,
You can tell it has not been cleaned. Also on the ceiling above the soda machine , there is a water stain that could be mold. Please mitgate that.
Also clean the kitchen front.

the sweet potato fries were good , but my burger was awful! The buns were dry and tough and tasted like day old bread! Update : 3 years later I go back and again , awful burger , dry meat , stale bread and fries were greasy! Won’t be back.

A friend of mine brought me here for a burger yesterday. I had the mushroom and swiss burger and fries. I was really impressed with my experience here. The food, service, and atmosphere were awesome. The employees made me feel like I was at home with family. Great old homestyle atmosphere. The food was absolutely delicious. I wanted to give a 10 star rating, but Google will only let me rate 5 stars. Keep up the excellent job. I will return soon.
Stopped by Jake's Burgers on Skillman and overall had a really satisfying meal. The fried mushrooms were a bit on the small side, but the crispy battered coating and ranch made them enjoyable. The patty melt was definitely the standout — fresh made to order and an easy 5/5. The chicken tenders arrived hot, fresh, and surprisingly juicy. The Texan salad was generously sized and the fried jalapeños added a great kick. The corn nuggets ended up being my personal favorite, and the funnel cake fries for dessert brought a fun nostalgic touch to finish everything off. A solid comfort-food spot with fresh flavors and hearty portions.
