I go to the lab for a coffee and a bite almost every morning and they never fail to make me smile and give me wonderful service. The girls that run the desk do a great job keeping the environment friendly and positive. They make amazing coffee and the avocado toast and banana toast is absolutely incredible. Highly recommend this place for your next coffee stop !

Little coffee shop that's almost exclusively for residents in the complex - very limited public parking, but opens into the leasing office lobby. Decent brews, and quiet, bright space for laptop work or people-watching, across the street from the trail.

Nothing to eat, just croissants and cinnamon roll. The lady on the counter taking the orders is very rude.

This coffee shop is a great place to go on a morning bike ride on the Katy trail!
Unsure- they show opening at 7am and as of 7:10am they are not open. Maybe hours are incorrect?
If the staff isn’t scowling, they are telling each other in appropriate stories. Great avocado toast though🤷🏽♂️
...parking is literally a nightmare & really just not worth the hassle
This is a sweet coffee shop located close to the start of Katy Trail. There's plenty of space to work or relax. I visited because of my coffee passport and ordered a vanilla latté with almond milk, which was tasty. My only issue was finding parking in the afternoon - it took me a while to locate a street parking spot. Despite this, the coffee is good, and I enjoyed talking to the staff about the coffee passport. This place is worth a visit.

Barista with uncalled for attitude. Then proceeds to make the drinks for the 2 customers behind me before getting to mine

It was pretty understaffed for a Saturday morning. I ordered a latte (forget what it was called--used caramel and vanilla syrup) and although it was good coffee, the syrup was not mixed in properly and sank to the bottom.
The staff member was OK (she was definitely overworked and the other barista was very much needed), but the other customers were rather chilly, and my croissant order took a while to come out, considering it was just a croissant.
Kid-friendliness: It is not kid-friendly.

Probably the best and most affordable coffee shop in the area. I got an iced vanilla latte with Oatmilk, almond croissant, and the Gouda bagel sandwich (absolutely slapped), and spent $22 altogether. Service was super quick and they had a nice seating area. Highly recommend

ZERO parking??
The food and coffee is excellent and as a resident I really enjoy having a coffee shop in the building. I just wish they would open on time. It’s advertised as 7am but they rarely have someone there at that time. I highly recommend the Avacado toast with a fried egg on sourdough!
