made a reservation to celebrate my engagement. Was overwhelemed by the friendliness and love from the staff! beautiful restaurant, lovely atmosphere. Great food for a really good price considering the area. Recommend the char siu bao ten toes down! Be prepared to wait a bit, seemed understaffed when we went considering we were one of maybe 5 tables and still had to ask after the check a few times. Will be coming back for sure!
I’ve been wanting to try Elephant East for a long time and I’m glad I finally did! The atmosphere was warm, inviting, and immersive; the space was thoughtfully designed with a lot of attention paid to textures and colors. The service was extremely prompt, friendly, and attentive. We did not have a reservation, but we were accommodated immediately in a cozy nook off the bar area. We shared spring rolls, tangerine beef, fried rice, and Chinese broccoli.
