I would of given a 5 star but I was given burnt liver on my order I called and they said they would replace the order only to wait 25 minutes to only get liver replaced mind you I drove from Mesquite Texas to get my order twice. A bit unhappy but it's to be expected.

I tried the food back in 2024 and still today the food is still good and fresh. I've only tried the chicken tetrazzini, pot roast, and fried catfish which was all seasoned well. There is no complaints about any of the sides. The only reason I gave them 4 stars is because on Sundays I will get there around 12:30pm and still wait over an hour for my order. That needs to be fixed! Overall, the food is good, just don't go on a Sunday if your in a time schedule!

I can't believe I hadn't tried this place sooner! The food 10/10, customer service 10/10. I initially went on a Saturday 1 hour before closing & I typically don't go to restaurants near closing, but I was in the area & stopped by anyway (coming from Plano). The meat that I initially ordered was out, but one of the workers offered me a different meat which cost less than what I paid for...this establishment offered me a side to make up for the price difference & didn't hesitate doing so! The food was fresh & hot once it came out. A few days later I went back to get the chicken & dressing that I wanted on my initial visit & I was met with the same service & quality. I will gladly drive 45 mins to this establishment for the service alone but the good food adds to it. Keep it up!

This place is definitely a hidden gem. I learned about them through my mom and let me tell you, the young men who manages the front gave great customer service and the food was absolutely delicious! I can't wait to go back and order their pot roast! 😋

Great food, friendly service.

This was my first time trying fried ribs, and they absolutely did not disappoint. They were incredibly flavorful and seasoned perfectly, with a crispy exterior and tender meat. We shared an order of the fried ribs along with the loaded mashed potatoes and yams, and honestly, everything we tried was delicious.

The portions were surprisingly generous. One order of fried ribs plus an extra side was more than enough for two of us. The service was fast, friendly, and welcoming, and the food came out hot and fresh. If you’re looking for well-seasoned soul food that’s full of flavor, this place is definitely worth a visit. We’ll absolutely be back!

The place was closed with no notice. Many people were there hoping to eat Sunday lunch after church. At this point I wouldn't give it another try.
