I stopped by to get lunch. The bratwurst was excellent. I also like the store, they have an extensive selection of highest quality sausages, steaks and meat, deli, and other garment items.
It is simple the best German food in DFW. It isn't fancy and it isn't the friendliest. But the food is the best authentic German food in the metroplex, maybe even in the whole state.
Decent place, good German place for Dallas. The Potato salat was very nice, I appreciated the thin-sliced potatoes in it and the spices. Sausages were great quality. My only wish is that the sauerkraut was more sour, but I understand having it more mild for a general audience.
I tried my brother's Ruben and my gosh it was amazing. The rye was powerful, and corned beef surprisingly spiced which isn't common but it paid off. I'd definitely get that...
