Great local sushi, maki, and INARI spot in Dallas! I had never tried inari before (imagine a sushi roll in a cooked tofu wrap). It was really good! Lots of fun to try creative new dishes, and they were great to share! We really enjoyed our meal and look forward to coming back again!

It’s all bar/ high table seating indoors. Outdoors they have a nice patio with good shade. The tables on the patio are typical height tables and there are also a few lounge chairs to sit in.

Great spot!

Not a full blown restaurant this is a pop up sushi spot inside the hotel. Call ahead to understand their current menu is. None of the food featured in online photos/menus was available when we arrived. We ordered a few random things and it was very expensive for what we actually got.

Celebrated our anniversary with chef Han at the new pop-up in the Drey Hotel and it was the right choice. We ordered the omakase and were impressed with every course. Chef Han came from an innovative sushi restaurant in NYC and what we had reflected that. There were many flavor combinations that were truly unique yet work well together. The great service rounded out the perfect evening and we definitely want to try their lunch offering soon.

If you're on the lookout for an authentic and delightful sushi experience in the North Dallas area, look no further than Kyo Sushi. Hands down, this place is the epitome of sushi perfection, and I can confidently say it stands out among the rest.

From the moment you step inside Kyo Sushi, the atmosphere embraces you with a warm and inviting vibe. The contemporary decor blends perfectly with traditional Japanese elements, making it the ideal setting for a casual meal or a special celebration. The staff is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, always eager to guide you through the menu and suggest their freshest offerings.

Now, let’s talk about the sushi. The quality is simply unmatched. The fish is impeccably fresh, and every piece is crafted with precision and care. I highly recommend starting with their signature rolls; the Kyo Roll is a must-try! It’s a delightful combination of flavors that showcases the chef’s creativity—each bite is a revelation. You also can't go wrong with their nigiri; the salmon and tuna are particularly exceptional, melting in your mouth with each delectable bite.

Excellent experience at the Village! The Tuna Flight was incredible, Miranda walked me through what the different pieces were. Francisco paired some wonderful cocktails along with the sushi for a remarkable evening!

I recently had lunch at the Kyo Sushi and Omakase pop up located inside the Drey Hotel at the Village Dallas — I cannot explain to you how good this is!!
Every item on their menu is perfection. Christine and Chef Han are so kind and welcoming. You do not want to miss out on this. Genuinely the best sushi I’ve had in Dallas or elsewhere.

Absolutely obsessed with the pop up at The Drey Hotel, Kyo Sushi. I went in for their lunch menu and it was spectacular, I ordered everything on their vegan/vegetarian section and it blew me away. Don’t miss out on this gem! It’s going to be very difficult not going everyday.

Highly recommend this in home omakase! The sushi chef and Christine are both super friendly and personable! Very skilled couple! We were served an 18 course sushi dinner and every bite was out of this world! Their flavor combos just enhanced the sushi plate! Everything was so fresh from the salmon to the uni! 10/10 recommend!

Kyo's home omakase is everything. I've lived in Dallas all my life and often order omakase from sushi restaurants. I have never heard of a home omakase experience in Dallas, so I highly recommend it (thanks IG). We ordered the Basic level (4 person minimum) and for the price per person, it was an unforgettable experience. The fish was fresh, the dishes unique, and the staff could not have been kinder. They are newer to the sushi scene in Texas, but if it is of any indication of their work ethic and quality, I've tried to book round 2, and they are booked all month. Please spoil your loved one for your next event/anniversary/date night. 10/10!

Fresh, fast and delicious! Look at the quality and how fresh the sushi looks. If you’re not a fan of raw fish, try their cooked rolls. The beef lovers is topped with American wagyu ?
