So glad we found the BOGO Omakase deal that they were having. My husband and I tried this place out and it was so good! We got the 15 course option, and loved everything served. The cocktails and mocktails were also on point. There is free parking nearby in the underground garage. This place is in the Dreys Hotel bar area. Would definitely come back and recommend!
We went there for a Bogo omakase at lunch time. It was our first omakase and we didnt know to expect. Chef Han and his wife were very friendly. Our group was split between going to NYC and national parks and chef Han, being from NY, helped us make the decision! The foods were so yummy. I wish there were some soup or appetizers or desert so the heavy eater can get somewhat full but for the price, it was a great deal. Highly recommend!

Had a light lunch at Kyo and ordered the spring rolls, a sushi roll, and shrimp tempura. The food itself was above average, and the pricing was actually very reasonable.
Unfortunately, the experience was overshadowed by something that happened during the visit. One of the waiters (a young Hispanic male) was standing near the table speaking with the owner, and making comments that were extremely anti-Islamic, hateful, and racist. It was loud enough for nearby guests to hear, and what made it more uncomfortable was that the conversation continued without being addressed or stopped by the owner. She just kept listening, acknowledging, and accepting. Do better.
The food was good, but hearing that kind of conversation in a restaurant setting made for a very disappointing dining experience and took away from what otherwise could have been a positive visit.

Highly recommend this omakase! The sushi chef and are both super friendly, personable and talented! Very skilled couple! We were served an 15 course sushi dinner and every bite was out of this world so we had to order some adds on from their menu! Their flavor combos just enhanced the sushi plate! Everything was so fresh from the salmon to the uni! 10/10 recommend!

So grateful I saw the BOGO omakase special promotion online. As soon as we were done, the wife and I were like we’ve got to come back when they do this again. I mean the value for money is insane. I don’t know if anyplace that could beat this. Especially because of the skill and craftsmanship of the chef and quality of the fish.
Here were the courses:
- [ ] Oyster shooter: unlike what we’ve had before. Creamy because of the quail egg yolk
- [ ] Tuna tataki
- [ ] Salmon with poached pear: fresh, slightly sweet because of the sauce
- [ ] Toro tartare: slightly strong wasabi flavor, still delicious
- [ ] Bluefin tuna with garlic miso: fantastic. Flavorful
- [ ] Seared salmon belly with tomato: very light sear, still held on to its freshness
- [ ] Yellowtail belly with yuzu: yellowtail was fresh and not chewy at all. Yuzu was a nice touch
- [ ] Squid with enoki mushroom: don’t normally have squid, but this was prepared well.
- [ ] Striped jack shima aji: shima aji can be a hit or a miss, and this was definitely not a miss.
- [ ] Sablefish with miso
- [ ] Toro fatty tuna
- [ ] Sweet shrimp with smoked trout: least favorite. Shrimp was Too slimy and the smoked trout was a tad bitter.
- [ ] Scallop: bitter
- [ ] Eel with coconut: good
- [ ] Wagyu with foigras: wagyu was seared too long. Still good.
Our servers were very kind and ensured our glasses were always full.
They don’t have mocktails on the menu, but our bartender was able to convert the Wylie coyote to be an NA and it was delicious.
The fact that this “restaurant” is essentially in a hotel lobby makes the experience quite intimate.
Parking: park in the free parking underground

Overall a solid omakase experience!
The food was fresh and delicious, and the chef’s creativity really stood out in each dish. The fish quality was great, and the cozy seating made the whole meal feel intimate and relaxed.
I also love that they run promotions throughout the year so definitely worth following their Instagram or Facebook so you don’t miss out!

10/10 would recommend! Had a wonderful dining experience here for my husband’s birthday. We did a 10-course omakase with a few friends. Everything was very fresh and high quality. The chef and bartenders were great! I will absolutely be back. Thanks guys!

There is free parking in the garage. We were late to our omakase appointment due to the rain but they were very understanding. We got a free drink and chose sake and got 15 courses. My absolute favorites were the salmon and tomato and toro and onion sauce. They were phenomenal. For valentine, it was $100 per person so this was an amazing deal for everything we got.

Food was fantastic but presentation was a little lacking in my opinion. Thankfully though presentation doesn’t affect taste!

Fantastic omakase experience at an amazing price! Chef Hanny is incredibly skilled and attentive — every dish was beautifully prepared and delicious. The place is small, but the quality of the food more than makes up for it. A hidden gem worth visiting!
