This is such an excellent spot! I got the sardine sandwich and it is incredibly delicious and their fries are amazing as well! The only suggestion I would make is that they give you ketchup with the fries, but they don’t seem to have that as an option, but that does not stop me from going back at least once a week! Very kind people work there as well, warm atmosphere.

Salad was amazing

The chicken sandwich was okay, but at least the fries were seasoned well. Oh, and the service was exceptional.

My biggest critique would be the portions, which are quite unfair considering the price you're paying for a regular sandwich.

Anyway, recommended if you're local only.

La Bodega’s sardine sandwich is quite literally and I say this with no hesitation the best sandwich I’ve ever eaten in my life!!!! It’s the perfect blend of salty, briny, herby and fresh. SCRUMPTIOUS!!!! I don’t live in Dallas (Austin) and I dream about this sandwich. I get it with a side fattoush salad and it’s the best combo.

As someone who’s had mixed experiences with Dallas food, la Bodega is 10000% worth the hype. Everything is so fresh and tasty, service is kind (they filled up my water bottle for me today), and atmosphere is adorable. It’s just such a gem and I wish it were closer to me!!! Please please do yourself a favor and go and get the sardine sandwich.

The apricot sesame cookie is also phenomenal. I love you La bodega!!! If I could give you 10 stars I would!!!!

There such a warm, lovely atmosphere in this special take-out restaurant here in Oak Cliff. And their food is amazing!!! I’m going to try every single salad over the next couple of months.

I really love stopping here on my long days at work. They have quick fast service. I’m in and out in 10 minutes. My favorite item is the Panzanella chicken salad. A small will do the trick

I’d been venting about the lack of quick, healthy grab-and-go spots in the neighborhood when a friend recommended La Bodega. I can’t believe I’ve been missing out on this gem!

Their seasonal, freshly made food is perfect for busy days. Tons of gluten-free options and the rotisserie chicken alone is reason enough to keep returning.

They also carry a thoughtful selection of European wines including a reasonably priced Cava that drinks far above its price point.

Overall: 10/10. Do yourself a favor and swing by for a taste.

Skye and the LaBo team are incredible. The food is creative and delicious and affordable. We love them. I could eat the chicken panzanella forever. And the fries. 10/10

This is truly the best seasonal salads and roasted chicken I have ever had. It tastes much more fresh and flavorful than other spots. You can really tell the people that prepare the food care and love making amazing food. The vibe is so cool. Love the real tart frozen yogurt with molasses as a treat. A true local Oak Cliff treasure.
