We were visiting the Arboretum, and this restaurant popped up on our Google search.
We arrived around 1:45 PM, and the last few customers were finishing their meals. We were seated immediately by a very cheerful host. We got Chips & Salsa fast, and it took us a few minutes to look over their menu and decide what we wanted.
I ordered the Migas (Scrambled Eggs with Taco Strips and Chicken bits, served with Refried Beans and Potatoes), and my wife had the Grilled Chicken, served with Mashed Potatoes and Grilled Vegetables.
The food was fresh and flavorful, and the portion size was manageable. The service was outstanding. The decor is modern and the restaurant is bright and clean.
The prices are reasonable.

If you’re wanting fast service or have little time, go somewhere else. But if you have time for a DELICIOUS meal that taste like a grandma is making it fresh with extra love, I absolutely recommend this place! Our food was so flavorful, even simple things like their rice made me go “WOW!” Service is friendly, but again, can be slow. We believe it’s definitely worth the wait though.

The food was so good! And I don’t know the name of our server, but he was literally the best. We came on Friday, June 27, 2025 at 5ish. So whoever it was there at that time, thank you!!!

Part of me doesn’t want to post this review because I don’t want my new favorite Mexican food spot to get overcrowded and too popular but they deserve the 5 star review! Went for Father’s Day lunch and everything was amazing. Food and margaritas were delicious. Service was great. 11/10 recommend.
Amazing Services Silas was my server and bartender aswell. Loved it a most Definitely must for Happy hour until 8 on Thursday ❤️🔥

Visited Las Favela and loved it! The decor is adorable and inviting. The waitstaff is super friendly. Portions were large. We ordered street tacos (fish and steak) and both were fantastic! The rice on the side was so fluffy, I wish I could mimic it at home the same way. All the ingredients were fresh. They do not cut any corners. Absolutely loved the food and we will be back. :)

Ordered red chilaquiles, didn’t have flavor & too spicy, we told our waiter, he offered another dish but after we overheard the employees talking bad about us we decided to cancel the order and leave. Now I understand why we were the only customers.
