The Goat Reviews
Just wow.
great little dive bar
Can't speak to the food as I have never eaten there, but in every other aspect this bar is definitely the GOAT. One of Dallas's true treasures. Best group of friendly people, staff are friendly and accommodating, and the karaoke is perfectly run. Have never been on blues night but since I will be moving to the area soon I plan to go.🙂

The Goat is a restaurant that offers delicious drinks and menu options, known for its upscale and elegant vibe. It is a popular spot for groups, with food served in a timely manner and at the right temperature. The restaurant is suitable for a mature and stylish crowd, featuring a well-curated drink and cocktail menu.
In addition to its dining experience, The Goat is also known for its live music, particularly blues, jazz, and classic rock. The venue attracts a diverse crowd and features a small dance floor, making it a fun place to enjoy the atmosphere. The restaurant is located in the heart of Downtown Dallas' Victory Park area and serves Mediterranean cuisine, with fabulous pizza and calzone available next door. The Goat also offers brunch on weekends, making it a must-visit.
The back patio is a great place for conversations, although parking can be a challenge, spots do open up. The atmosphere is often lively and happening, drawing in locals and visitors alike, whether for a relaxed dining experience or a fun night out.
However, recent reviews have pointed out some concerns. A female bartender has been described as rude and demanding tips after overcharging for drinks. There are also complaints about her treating people of color very rudely and accusing certain guests of not tipping, despite them not ordering from her or drinking alcohol. Such issues highlight the need for better staff behavior to maintain the restaurant’s reputation.
