This is my second time trying this place, tried it couple years ago and it was terrible, nothing has changed. Today I ordered the chicken fried steak, that was very salty. The cheese rice was also very salty. The okra taste like its been there forever. The cornbread was good but it was dry. The woman that made my plate was very rude. Almost forgot to mention the prices are extremely high. Definitely will not be returning.

This place looked horrible and raggedy. Food yuck. Banana pudding terrible. The Price was ridiculously HIGH. PLEASE DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!

I would give them a 5 Star but to run out of cornbread everyday is sad 😔 and you have to wait 10 to 20 minutes. Don't offer no courtesy drink of anything. They need to do better. I can see them running out of certain items but out of cornbread before 1:30 and that's on most days.

Delicious food! Great service! The line is soooo long everytime I go but it is 100% worth it.

Had Lisa's today for 1st time, my sister bought me lunch. Every thing was good except the chocolate cake, wasn't moist.

So I guess they listened to yall, cause the dressing wasn't salty at all, it was good! In fact all my food was good! I had baked chicken and dressing, green beans, mac and cheese, and blackeyed peas with TWO cornbread. Lol. I was in town visiting my baby brother in the Cliff and this is where he suggested. Next time im here imma try the catfish and cobbler. But yeah, my experience was solid, frfr.

I got baked chicken dressing, mac & cheese and for corn. The dressing was so salty it’s ridiculous. The baked chicken was so dry. The corn taste like it was kept over from days ago and they just warmed it up It was not worth $17.50. And the crazy thing is, I read the Reviews and I still decided to try here and many people said in the reviews that the dressing was salted and they wasn’t lying

I wouldn't recommend this place on Sunday afternoon. After standing in line over an hour they ran out of bread & so I would have had to wait another 20 minutes for that. I chose to leave.

Well going by the website it says it opens at 11:00 a.m. but that's not correct at all. My brother and I was looking for somewhere to go eat on this particular Monday,I really wanted some BBQ but seems like every place that served BBQ was closed on Mondays for some strange reason and if anybody knows the reason please let me know 😀 Well anywho we arrived there and this place looked deserted as if they had packed up and moved,now the name was still outside of the building so we waiting awhile before we pulled off just to see where anyone else was going to pull up or to see if they where going to be patrons opening up or coming out but to no avail there was no movement at all so we just jumped back on the freeway and headed back to work. I was looking to try their ox tails.

I’ve been calling since 8am try to see if they have chitlins. No one has answered the phone every time I called they sent me the voicemail even when I was going they never opened up on time. I’ll be glad when the grannies kitchen open up that’s down the street that used to be south Dallas Café
