Raised on the Louisiana border but moved to Austin and been missing food like this!! It was delicious! meat falling off the bone, cornbread soft but with a crunch, greens good, gravy good enough to drink, Kool aid sweet and I NEED that banana pudding recipe. Left a star off for wait time. It's about an hour wait in line because the food is slow to be replenished.
First time customer and sad to say it was not a good experience , food was overly seasoned and the sweet potato pie was bland. Today might not have been a good day. Hopefully my next experience will be better.
Lisa's is a great place to go for 'home cooking'. The food is always cooked and seasoned well. I've always been given a good portion. And you always have a good selection. Yummm!
