It's mind boggling , it's probably the best airport food I've ever had. The Caesar salad was excellent. Mom's Lasagna was excellent. The Italian sandwich was good. The Spaghetti & Meatball had actual flavor. I can't tell you how many crappy Italian restaurants that I've been too across the united states and find actual good food at an airport was a real treat. Alicia was our bartender and all around great hostess. While we were waiting for our flight management was sitting to my right facing the restaurant (we were in the center of the walkway). We watched numerous employees standing at the hostess station on their phones and or chatting amongst themselves and ignoring people.
It was a great airport find. A rare gem. Our server was friendly, knowledgable and efficient. Food was great - mediterranean spaghetti and kids’ raviolli, and awesome butter cake with fresh strawberries. Note that we are no fans of salty and overly sweet dishes. They got all of that just right. Wine and beer had good selections too. Certainly a good way to spend time whether your flight is delayed or you got a long connection.
