Consistently good food and service. Not a fan of the meatloaf (always dry, IMO), but most everything else works for me! Try the CFS, and breakfast items. Skip the pies - the fillings seem like canned or powdered products (e.g., Jello pudding mix, etc.)
I had an exceptional dining experience at this establishment. I ordered Mama's #2 along with a side of two breakfast sausage tacos. The portions were generous, and the service was remarkably prompt, despite the restaurant being fully occupied.
The eggs were cooked to perfection, the potatoes were well-seasoned, and the sausage links were flavorful. The toasted rye bread was also prepared just right.

What a neat and laid back southern comfort spot here in Dallas! We had a great experience here in this relaxed southern setting with plenty of great food and service to go along with it. I got the grilled chicken with 3 sides for $11 (see daily deals) and my buddy got chicken and waffles. We really enjoyed our food and our time here. Check it out sometime! By the way they are only open until 2pm.
