Had the brisket sandwich with fries. The brisket wasn't very flavorful (even a little salt would help) but the fries were crispy and salty. I probably wouldn't get the brisket again but I may return to try another menu item.
Our server was polite and kept checking in, so I appreciated that. Another manager person checked in on us twice too, so we felt cared for.

We stopped into Maple Landing while staying nearby and were really impressed.
The space immediately stood out - indoor and outdoor seating, a bar area, and even a game area we could see. It has a relaxed, welcoming vibe that works whether you’re grabbing a drink or settling in for a longer visit.
We started with some locally crafted draft beers and took our server’s recommendation on the spinach and artichoke dip, a great call. I should pause here to say how outstanding Cassandra was. Personable, attentive, and genuinely helpful, she made two excellent recommendations that set the tone for the whole visit.
We followed that with another round and the pepperoni pizza rolls. At the suggestion of the food runner, we added ranch as a second dip — absolutely the right move.
We originally came for the brisket, but after seeing the pizzas coming out, we’re already planning a return to try those on our next visit. While we didn’t make it to entrées this time, everything we saw looked fantastic.
Highly recommend if you’re looking for a good vibe, great food, and attentive service. Ask for Cassandra’s section, you’ll be in very good hands.

Emily our server was fantastic. First time visit and very impressed with food, ambiance and overall experience. Started with the pimento cheese appetizer, which with the chopped pecans and maple syrup drizzle was sweet, savory, crunchy and flavorful. Garnished with crackers, celery and carrots. Very tasty! The brisket sandwich was delicious, as was the potato salad. My spouse ordered the pastrami brisket sandwich and it was wonderful as well. The GM came by twice to ensure we were enjoying our food and experience, super nice guy. Cool spot, looks line an airplane hangar inside with a beautiful bar space in the center of the room. The banana bourbon bread pudding was the perfect sweet finosh to a delicious dining experience. Friendly staff, good food, decently priced for what you get.

I ordered the Brisket Poutine. A marvelous dish. The atmosphere is rustic and if you are receiving care at UTSW Medical center, it is vert convenient. Coffee is really good too.

Overall I’ve never had a problem with this place, always in and out with my order with a couple beers while waiting. Today was another story due to some event, bartender was doing the best she could for the amount of orders she had, but coworkers just looking at people at the bar, including me, waiting for refills/ tickets. In my case, both. Got my pizza waiting 20 mins just for the bartender to comeback around after I was talking to a coworker about the price of my beer. Was honestly going to pay for beer and leave the pizza. Hopefully better next time…
