Met the wonderful owner today along with wonderful food being served here and very satisfied and it is about mom and pop as you can get. It is a cash only restaurant. Hopefully one day they will have an ATM here. But the food is authentic.. corn and flour tortillas are homemade.. that's what I'm talking about!!!

I'm moving into the area and stopped in for a bite to eat after dropping off some boxes at the new homestead. The place isn't much to look at -- older building, bars on the windows, stuff like that. Despite the above appearances, I was treated to some of the friendliest service I've ever had, and the food was exactly what I needed -- especially the handmade tortillas! I got the machacado with eggs, and it was exactly as it should be. One note -- I noticed on the door, after ordering, that the restaurant is cash only. My heart sunk for a minute until I saw how super reasonably priced the food is. I had the cash plus tip in my pocket without even having to think about it! Thanks Me and Mom's! I'll most certainly be back!
