Mike Anderson's BBQ House
Myself and a co-worker were eating lunch here. Mike the owner came up to us and asked us if we had saw a movie with Barrack and Micheal. At 1st it didnt dawn on me who he was talking. Then I asked him who he was talking about, he said Micheal, you know him as Michelle. I then told Mike that I was a proud 24 year veteran of the U.S. Army and that the Commander in Chief and 1st Lady are positions of respect and should not be made fun of . Especially by someone that claims to be a veteran. Although Mike claims to be a veteran, I dont know any Sailor, Solldier, Airman, or Marine that would proudly says they talk bad about or dislike all presidents. Mike if ever served is a disrespectful disgrace to the unifom he claims.... I would never eat at Mikes again...

I went to the chiro school a few miles away and this place was my favorite spot for lunch. Oh my lord it's it good! I go every time I'm in Dallas.

Best barbecue i done had in awhile 😋
Saw this place on my drive to work so I planned to grab it for lunch. I take a late lunch so Im thinking this was why its empty. Noooo I had to call out for someone several times for someone to serve me. Grabbed a three meat dinner plate with ribs, chicken and brisket. The baked potato was hard and clearly old. The brisket was really dry. I enjoyed the two ribs but thats about it. For $26 I expected better. Wont be dining there again.

Whoever made that peach cobbler needs to receive a raise! Because that's how a peach cobbler is supposed to taste every single time.

Our company had done a big order for takeout for this place since it was nearby and had good reviews. One of the plates for our employees was not provided. Tried to get that one order for the employee. We didn't ask for the whole order to be comp, just wanted one employee's order to be filled so they could go pick it up. They didn't want to accomdate that or reimbursed the missing plate. Would leave zero stars if possible. Not good service. The price was over $200 so they should've reasonably give us the one plate that was missing. Do not recommend for big orders and maybe catering.

The sauce was the highlight of the experience. The turkey was the best of the three meats I had. Then the sausage and last the brisket... the brisket was dry and needed the sauce to make it ! Sides were mmmeh...

Very tasty barbecue! We had the brisket, ribs, and pulled pork. The cheddar garlic smashed taters were 💯!! You even get a free ice cream cone.

We stopped by Mike's barbecue House when visiting Dallas for work.
When we arrived near closing at 2pm we found a small business with the friendly owner (Mike) personally greeting and serving people behind the counter. Something rarely seen in today's world.
We specifically sought him out because he's one of the few places in town that accepts sound money in the form of Goldbacks for payment. I like to support small businesses and part of that is in how payment is made, cash is better than card and Goldbacks hold value while cash does not.
The food was very good, delicious pulled pork, brisket, and cobbler. Had some good conversation about monetary history and the Goldback. I'm glad we stopped by, the experience was enjoyable and I wish Mike well in his future endeavors.

This is the best Tasting BBQ. I drive from Ferris Texas to dine. The Brisket is very tender. The baked Beans are my favorite. I recommend this place to everyone. He will not disappoint.
