Wow! We were lucky enough to have dinner last night at Mister Charles. Eight of us were in town for a convention. All first timers here. We asked our server Rosa if it was possible to do a chef's tasting menu. She spoke with Chef Brendan and he put together an amazing menu for us in 10 minutes! Every course was superb and Chef Brendan explained each course of the meal. Specialty drinks were amazing. The Som, Luis, put together our wine pairings and they were outstanding....
The Short Rib Wellington is a must-try and perfect for sharing. We also tried all of their desserts, and the Passionfruit Entremet truly stood out with its unique and vibrant flavors.
Experienced excellent service from start to finish. I tried the Root beer Old Fashioned and enjoyed it. We shared the Caesar salad, a spicy pasta, the scallops and their yummy version of baked Alaska. Everything had amazing flavor and presentation. Only disappointing thing was the scallops were cut in half. Not quite what I was expecting. Overall a wonderful experience. Will definitely go again.
