Great food consistently prepared with noteworthy seasonal specials. Service was very personal and ensured a wonderful experience. Noise level in restaurant easily accommodated table conversation which can be hard to find these days.

Jack provided most excellent service. Steak Tartare still the best in the city. Halibut top notch as were cocktails and wine by the glass. Great french fries, both regular and sweet potatoes. All good again!

Overall, we had a great time at Montlake Cut. The only thing that diminished the experience was the noise level. It may have been the corner we sat in that was particularly loud, but it was beyond “energetic” and instead was just too noisy. Ryan, our waiter made wonderful recommendations and we truly enjoyed the food. We will go back, but will try to sit at the bar next time so it's easier to have a conversation.

Our Server was excellent and good very good however we were pressured to leave to turn table. Bus boy was rude and pulled our table wear out from under us as we finished dessert. Would have been 5 star if not for that.

small quaint place with Northwestern seaboard motif. Server was very knowledgeable about all specials and detailed, and describing how plates were composed. All the entrées met and exceeded expectations were definitely enjoy another dinner there in the future.

Another fun and delicious dinner at Montlake Cut-Great service and recommendations from Rusty. They have a great wine list and we treated ourselves to a delicious bottle of champagne. The Milanese fish is not to be missed!

Absolutely fabulous as usual! We look very this place and we took a couple here for the first time to celebrate 20 years of friendship. They loved it! The noise level is still an issue but I think unavoidable. Will always return!

Andrew the bartender is fabulous, and Jack the 20 yo waiter is such a treat. Knowledge beyond his years. And of course the food and ambiance is perfect. You feel like you are in Seattle!!

If you enjoy seafood, make your way to Montlake Cut. Always fresh fish on the menu and several choices. Arguably the best seafood restaurant in Dallas. Great appetizers and salads, and options if you do not want seafood. Can be a little noisy around the bar, seating towards the rear will be just a little quieter. Fish taco's are always superb and whole roasted branzino was decision. French Fries among the best in the city, but corn, brussel sprouts are also outstanding. Worth the drive. Suggest you make a reservation. This restaurant fills up quickly - on the early side.

Kudos to Montclair Cut. The food was divine...iespeciallythe smoked salmon appetizer and the branzino. Perfection! My only criticism in an almost perfect review was my opinion that the noise level was rather high But for the best part...I reserve my highest praise for our server, Sherlyn (Sp?). She was so congenial and accommodating and made every effort to ensure that we had a wonderful dining experience. I will most certainly return an will ask for Sherilyn in the future. Regards, Denise and Bart

The food and service were outstanding. The noise level was very loud. Mainly due to large party in our area who had never learned the difference between an outside voice and an inside voice. The more wine, the louder the people at the table. I actually turned my hearing aids off and was still annoyed by the noise. Ask to sit in front booths, no large tables around .

Food and service were great, but we did have to wait 40 minutes to be seated even with a reservation. Would not suggest trying to make a reservation and come here on a busy (Friday or Saturday) night, you may have to wait a very long time! They did comp a couple of appetizers due to the wait which was nice.

Service, food and drinks were all very good. Cheryl Lynn was outstanding. But the noise level was out of this world. We were in the back room and we couldn't hear our waitress or each other in our group of 4. We come on a regular basis and it seems like it's been this way for the last two years as the 30 yo's scream, especially the women. Can the restaurant consider putting in sound panels to absorb?
