A friend recommended this place and it was excellent. It is a little pricey, but worth it. The samosas were light and flakey, the lamb was divine, and the baklava was heaven.

This place oozes ambiance and charm. The waitstaff are attentive (and very cute). The owner is friendly and approachable and present on most nights. You can tell he cares about the business and the food.

I recommend trying the Kuman Old Fashioned.
I was snowed in in Kabul in 2007 & my friend took me out to eat at Sufi. That was the beginning of my eternal passion for Afghan cuisine. Every dish is so rich with enthralling flavors. The first thing I did when I came back to Dallas was look for a local Afghan restaurant + there was one on Preston at Campbell which is where I believe Nora began. Best hummus we’ve ever tasted! All the food was really, really great. Outdoor seating on a corner with a lot of foot traffic going by, and great weather, made our visit a really enjoyable experience. Highly recommend!
