Ojos Locos Sports Cantina - Dallas

I enjoyed it! My server Lucia was very sweet and attentive and I will be back because of her, the food, and the atmosphere

Ojos Locos was nothing like I expected. I was tired, hungry and wanted some Mexican food. Although I had never heard of this restaurant, Ojos Locos appeared to meet my criteria. It was very near my hotel, it appeared to serve Mexican food and I was practically in front of the place when I first spotted it.

Ojos Locos turned out to be a “breastaurant” similar to Hooters and Twin Peaks. Although it was readily apparent that this was not the sort of restaurant to which you’d take your mama, your wife or your kids, I was alone, I was hungry and I was already inside the place. So I thought, “What the hell? Maybe the food will at least be decent even if the all female waitstaff border on indecency.”

Unfortunately, the food wasn’t very good. Describing the food at Ojos Locos as “mediocre” would be both generous and charitable.

You’re probably wondering, “What about the allure of the eye candy?”

I’m sorry to say that most of the waitresses at Ojos Locos are no more desirable than the food they bring to your table. Rather than a lot of smoking hot babes, I saw a bunch of tired, sad-looking single moms putting up with a crappy job as they try to pay their rent and feed their kids. OK, there were a couple of them who were kind of cute, in a cheap, slutty, trailer park kind of way, but they fell far short of giving me any desire to ever return to Ojos Locos. After all, what I really wanted was some decent Mexican food and I didn’t find any at Ojos Locos.

Not a family restaurant. For adults only. Conversation difficult since music is so loud.

I wish I had took a picture of the shrimp tacos … they were on microwaved corn tortillas with like 4 shrimps .. it was ridiculous I’ve never seen tacos like that before … It was also a hair in my salad when I ordered the nachos! yea it’s cool to drink there but the food is trash .

Okay the food was a bit too good! I tried a shrimp taco and I can say they are delicious but I’m not a fan of seafood tacos. Now the pastor omg I think it had mango or some kind of fruit on it I could eat those all year! Then I made the mistake of FAFO with the barbaco the amount of flavor and taste mi Amora so good! But I eat them all so you are SOL

Only wanted 1 drink and it took 40 minutes after I was sat down at my table. I'm not sure if it's because of my race or the lack of English-speaking servers. 🤔 #Service #Restaurant #WaitTime #

Came by to have some drinks at this location, and they seemed overwhelmed. Waited 25 min for a drink. The location has security, which is a good thing, but also, they seem to keep patrons away. Wouldn't recommend this location.
