Went to a birthday dinner and we had a good time. I will say first if the drinks are almost $20 the bartender need to put liquor in the drinks because the margarita was weak for $16.95. for an appetizer I had the sauteed crab claws and dirty rice, It was really good. My main course I had chicken tenders and fries because I was kind of full from the bread and the crab claws and the rice. Nice atmosphere. Can't go wrong really at pappadeaux's been going here for years
I hadn't been to a papadeaux's since I lived in Houston way back in 2008. We were in Dallas and close to the restaurant and thought, why not lets go. Bad decision. I will say our server was very nice and provided great service. Everything else, wasn't great. The restaurant itself looked run down and was disheveled and dirty. Dirty tables and dishes were waiting to be cleared. I ordered lobster, it was wasn't cooked correctly and I was only able to eat a little...
Me (Miranda) and my son Phillip really enjoyed our service from Rakeem. He’s a great server and we enjoyed him so much that we came back a second night in the 4 days we stayed in Dallas. Thanks Rakeem for making our experience memorable!
