I really want to like this place but based off of my last handful of visits I just don’t.
The service is terrible. No one greets you when you walk in, the staff prioritizes their own personal conversations over greeting you, seating you, at least bringing a water or some sort of acknowledgment while you wait.
Several times I have waited over 15 minutes to be acknowledged and just ended up leaving, I’ve also witnessed other people with the same frustration end up doing the same.
There used to be a male bartender that was super sweet and always took good care of me and my daughter any time we came but it seems like he’s gone.
The food, coffee, and ambiance is honestly great and the best around the area in my opinion which is why I keep trying to come back but the lack of customer service kills it for me. I’ve only met one nice barista there since the bartender I liked has left. I’ve been coming since August of 2024.
I really hope management takes some of these reviews into consideration and attempts to properly train its staff or hire people that are more appropriate for a customer facing position.

Nice little spot in the middle of downtown. Quiet place to take a break from the hustle of the city. We ordered pumpkin bulls*, chicken biscuit, cappuccino. The service is a bit slow if you take a table. You can always order at the counter

I had a great lunch there with my husband. His burger and my chicken sandwich were tasty. The place ran out of fries, but we had great kale salad instead (you could also substitute with breakfast potatoes). The pebbles coffee was delicious. The staff is extra nice and attentive!
As a Downtown resident, I decided to try this place for the first time this morning. When I arrived, there was a sign asking guests to wait to be seated, so I waited patiently for about 10 minutes while watching an employee walk back and forth. They seemed short-staffed, so I didn’t want to interrupt, but after waiting for 15 minutes, I finally asked about the wait time. That’s when I was informed they weren't offering table service and that I needed to order at the bar and seat myself. If I had been informed of this right away, I would have done so. I ended up leaving but will give it another try and update my rating if I have a better first time experience.
