What a wonderful restaurant! With their limited dinner hours during the week and no weekend hours as of now, spring break week (no traffic coming from the burbs!) was the perfect time to make the trek downtown on a Friday evening. We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner for five at Fond. Our server was attentive and helpful with our questions about the menu items. Jennie, one of the owners visited our table to be sure we were pleased with everything. The food was delicious and we’ll certainly go back to Fond again on our next visit to Dallas.

This place has quickly become one of my work lunch favs. Everything I've tried has been outstanding. Somehow they manage to make a fairly simple and healthy salad (the miam miam) absolutely clean-your-plate delicious. The lemony chicken orzo soup is another favorite - fresh, great flavor without being too heavy or indulgent. And don't sleep on the soft serve!
