picked up a coffee and some bakery items in the morning. Coffee is ok but their displayed bakery items are really disappointing. The chocolate croissant must have been from the day before and the cinnamon muffin was extremely greasy.

Last Night I celebreated my b-day here in Downtown and we found this place, and I totally loved it ♡Bartender made me an special drink since I told the waiter that I liked sweet drinks type Bailey's, Kaluha, chocolatines etc lol He made me a delicious one of a kind drink that made my night memorable and we order a late snack fries and sirloin steak that was sooo delicious and well seasoned. Also I want to include they had live Jazz and they were playing fantastic I will def. Come back to this Downtown Jewel :) thank you again Bartender for also the discount for cool people you are the best and our waitress as well!!!

So I can’t give half stars… this would technically be about 3.5 - 3.75.The food: The Diner Breakfast was delicious! Eggs cooked perfectly, bacon was just the right amount of crisp, sourdough toast was very yummy and the potatoes were amazing. The Bloody Mary was average.Service: this is what killed my vibe. The server was slow and uninterested in doing her job. We had to ask for silverware. We had to ask about the “homemade jam” that was listed on the menu for our dish and only after asking were told “oh sorry, we ran out of that.”We even had to literally chase her down to pay our bill.Atmosphere: this was as expected. Nice ambiance for a cafe setting. Outdoor seating is available. Good music (if you like 80s pop). Interesting art.I would return, but would not want the same server. Didn’t get her name because she didn’t engage with us at all.

It was amazing! The cortado was to die for?. We loved the french toast and steak frites. This place is a must-try!

We arrived on Sunday at 2:45 pm and was told the staff called last call at 2:30 pm. We made a special trip to grab some coffee but the waiter informed us that everything was shut down at 2:30 pm. Online the restaurant clearly states closes at 3:00 pm. Very disappointed to have come back to this place and not even able to get a coffee. Words to management you may want to change your closing time to 2:30 pm.

You get the full french experience here. Coffee is bland as hell, food is sub par for the price, if they want to charge $20 a meal it better come in perfect packets but it comes in the same take out boxes as Applebee's so. Very. Tacky. Also, when they mess up your order they always blame it on you, just like the French. Go anywhere but here.

From the atmosphere of the establishment to the service the baristas and cooks provide, Parterre is hands down one of the best independently owned coffee shop in Dallas. I highly recommend spending the morning, afternoon and evening here. They play live music on certain days and the staff are very attentive to the customers and their needs. If you want a experience you can Yelp about come to Parterre!

I have been here for lunch twice now and Parterre is going to be in my rotation for lunch spots in downtown. They have not been very busy (yet) at lunch but I am telling you they will be once people start finding out about them. The service is really good, the food is excellent, the coffee is expertly prepared and the atmosphere is a cool, relaxing vibe. I hear at dinner they have live jazz. If you are downtown, stop by and you will see what I mean.

Went here this morning for breakfast. Nicole took care of me & was super attentive. Brought my water and refilled my drink without even having to ask. This place is great. Staff, vibes & food are all top notch.*Edit: for the ignorant reviewers (Sarah) who think this is a staged review: I actually eat breakfast here twice a week & have for months, just decided it was time to review it. But thanks for assuming my feedback wasn't sincere. Says more about you than it does about the place of business itself*

Update : I’m a regular and live in the building .I usually get Molly or Xavier and they both have amazing customer service. I’d ask for them when goingNicole was extremely rude to me and my assistant over just giving us water .Everyone else is greatWhen my assistant came to me and was like the girl with the red hair was really rude to me for no reason , I was confusedAnd went back there because one thing I don’t tolerate is bad customer service . No one deserves that .My team ate breakfast there earlier that day and we came back and my assistant asked for 3 waters nicely and nicole threw a whole fit about us asking for water**This past weekend I had my first event in that building and we ran out of water , when I came in on Saturday Xavier was literally so sweet about it . I literally need to go back just to tip him just because that’s real customer service **Some waiters need to get trained in customer service and how to treat customers because with kindness because if you can’t do that you’re in the wrong field .Also that Joshua comment above me is clearly staged . You’re not fooling anyone with that.
