Pearl is another excellent sushi restaurant option in Dallas. The atmosphere is sophisticated and the service is friendly and thoughtful. The food overall was excellent. Compared to the best sushi places in town, some of the dishes didn’t have the layers of flavors and/or textures that would make the dining experience truly exceptional. Our one disappointment came with our last bite of the evening. The Wagyu beef lacked flavor and just seemed off.

Five star just isn’t enough. From appetizer to dessert your mouth will just be on an IV drip of beyond excellent flavor and textures. From smoky to floral everything simply melts in your mouth with powerful yet delicately refined umami. I am thankful to have found this place and a big thank you to the chef and crew; it made our night wonderful and one to remember.

The sashimi and fresh sushi are top quality with little elements of elevated taste. The seared salmon and the red snapper are my absolute favorites and I would highly recommend the Philly style wagyu roll. Subtle but obvious when you taste it.
