Food was very good. The salads were tasty and the hummus appetizer was great. The salmon was also very good. The main dining room wasn't used so we were sitting in the bar area which was a little noisy but not too bad. One weird item was that we were initially asked to give our credit card at the beginning of the meal. This is a nicer hotel restaurant. That seems more like what a college bar would ask you to do.
Our experience was lovely. Not sure why this has a rating under 4 stars but it appears to be more about service and fussy things as opposed to food. Service was excellent. He was the only server but we never had to wait and didn't feel rushed at all. Americano was tasty, breakfast sandwich was delicious, bowl of fruit was fresh. The experience I had was based on me getting the wrong feel for the restaurant. I assumed a restaurant and atmosphere that would reflect a more posh destination.
