Best cozy spot for consistent Mexican and excellent margaritas! Their queso is amazing and the classic margarita is solid. Rafas was my favorite spot when I went to SMU. I loved coming back after 14 years! Can’t wait to come back again soon!

Rafa’s Cafe Mexicano is one of my favorite Tex-Mex spots in Dallas! The food is consistently delicious with generous portions and authentic flavor — from the sizzling fajitas to their tasty puff tacos and great chips & salsa. The staff is warm and welcoming, and the laid-back, family-friendly atmosphere makes it a perfect place for lunch or dinner. I also love that they’ve been serving up great Mexican food since 1975 — you can tell they know what they’re doing!...
