This was an awesome experience. I wish I had taken pictures of the food. Authentic food, authentic ambience and an establishment that's been there for a long time. Just good basic Mexican food. Love the chips and salsa. Definitely will be back.
Best TexMex is Dallas, hands down. I've been going for over 20 years, and I've never had a bad meal or experience, not even once. Everything on the menu is delicious, and the spicy queso cannot be beat. Go hungry - the pan fried tacos, carnolas, enchiladas, fajitas, and tacos al carbon are all delicious. Love the mango margaritas, as well. The staff are all wonderful, and service is consistently excellent. I think Rafa's might just be my favorite restaurant in Dallas!
My fav TexMex!! Soooo good!! I always get the lunch special #2, it is a cheese taco and an enchilada, rice and beans for $11.95. Plus the chips and amazing, salsa is sooooo good with garlic and a mild fresh flavor!!
