It’s a solid 3 stars ⭐️ not more. We specifically went for the French onion soup which wasn’t bad - it was goodish I’d have it again if I were to go back to the restaurant but I’m not. The main disappointment was the soufflé which is the restaurant’s specialty. I got the ham and cheese, raspberry and bread pudding souffles. I really like the ham and cheese. The bread put was okay. The raspberry was really not appealing. My husband said it tastes like eggs and raspberries. This is my second time there, and I felt like the tops were a little too done. Had a better first time I went a year ago.
I have loved coming to rise for years. The food is still good, but our server did not ask or inform us about allergens when we specifically asked. She recommended a soufflé that did not have dairy in it although it had pecans in it. I had to go across to CVS to get Benadryl in the middle of dinner and we couldn’t get anyone’s attention to assist us when we needed help with my daughter’s allergic reaction.
