You expect to pay more than average for a better than average restaurant. Here you do just that. My wife and i were not disappointed, but it could have been better. The carrot soup (the special) was outstanding- incredibly well balanced and subtle. The pork chop with bacon/potatto salad was more modest. The potatoe salad was more like potatoes and bacon grease. The potatoes were sometimes done or less than done. I didn't eat it. The pork chop was cooked perfectly- well seared...
It was so nice to go back to Salum. I have not been in a while. Perfect quite restaurant for lunch with friends or a business meeting. Service was fantastic and friendly. Food was delicious. The menu is very appealing.
I can always depend on having an excellent meal with good service that is not intrusive, yet informative on the food and pleasantly delivered. My choice whenever I need to have a meeting or just a place to meet with friends.
