“I do not like the curtido at the other well known Salvadorian restaurant in the Bishop Arts district, but at Rosi's it's delicious! Their pupusas, chicken tamale, and plantains were freshly made. The service by Carolina, atmosphere and food were top notch!“

“Food is really good. I went there with my friend and I ate some pupusas and they were really good and fresh. We got a lot of food to go and when I got home I ate their fried fish and it was really good. The frijoles are also really good I definitely recommend. They only accept cash. And the restaurant is located in the back of a convenience store very humble. The ladies that work there are super friendly and efficient. The owner also works there she is very sweet and nice.“

“Today was my first time but will not be my last. I walked in. The cashier was very welcoming. He asked me was this my first time I said yes he introduced himself and the store as well as the menu and provided recommendations off of my preferences. Also advised they take Call in orders too!! Thank you for the wonderful service & thank you for the great food. The pupusa’s hit the spot.“

“Love me some pupusas. Cash only. I suggest calling ahead, if you can. Otherwise it'll be 15min wait outside or in your car since they are made fresh to order and limited space inside. $2.50 a pupusa and it comes with curtido and salsa. Worth it.“

“Food was the best I've had in a very long time. Every bite has so much flavor, I couldn't stop eating even though I was full, that's how good it was. The day i was there the tv was playing wrestling and it was loud, didn't like that, but the food was good enough to make up for it.“

“I was a bit disappointed in this one. I invited a coworker to eat some pupusas. The worker was stocking the cooler with drinks when we walked in. Didn't acknowledge us..... no problem. The cook finally came by and made a comment of" He's just gonna ignore them?" No problem..... I'm here for pupusas!!! We ordered revueltas with cheese/pork and cheese/chicken. There was plenty meat but hardly any cheese. The masa was a bit dry and flavorless. The chicken tamales were ok but nothing special. Curtido and salsa were ok. Overall, it was very underwhelming. Can't say I'll return.“

“I am very impressed with the bad reviews on this restaurant. But the one that really caught my eye was the one from Karen where she claimed unless you are single meaning not taken😄. This is a pretty good restaurant… I eat there many times and the customer service is great same as delicious food. I also think that all those bad reviews are also a lack of communication, as we all know there is no perfect people. If there was a something that does not seems to be really right all you have to do is talk about it right there. I truly believe this place was a a good place to eat good and healthy. I rather eat 2 pupusas than eat at McDonald’s where food can set for years and not go bad. The waitress is wonderful and full of spirit to help. She is also kind and respectful to the customer. Will definitely recommend this place to eat and relax.“

“Came in for a pickup order midday on a Saturday and upon first entrance the interior has a very clean "shoppe" vibe with nice looking booths and tables.I'm a sucker for chicharrones, fried yuca, empanadas, pupusas, and the curtido to go with. This place had it all.The curtido had a surprising punch...and as my first bite it set a fantastic bar.The yuca portion with the cheech-n-yuca dish was surprisingly healthy. It's entree sized, for sure. Then the empanadas...another star of the show. And more spicy slaw (curtido)...that put a smile on my face.Everything came with a salsa Roja that was very mild in heat but super flavorful. The chicharron was the most decadent thing I've ever tasted. I had to stop and take a prayer after every bite because it was so sinfully amazing. It's one of those bites that stops time, IYKYK.The pupusa will be desert later.“

“Excellent pupusas!!
I had never set foot in this restaurant. They recommended it to me and so I blindly placed an order for 100 pupusas for a party. The delivery was on time, the communication was very appropriate and the pupusas had the curtido and the sauce very delicious! Totally recommended.“

“A lovely little pupuseria. I finally had the chance to stop in for their tamales salvadorenos. Steamed in banana leaves, these are soft and contain both chicken and steamed potatoes. The texture will remind a gringo like me of a chicken pot pie. (The filling, to judge by tge staff pointing it out to me, has been an issue with customers expecting the beef tamales Mexicano served by other places. El Salvador tamales normally use chicken.) Served to the table with bottles of salsa Roja and salsa verde, both delicious. Free tortilla chips and salsa picante are provided, of course.A small but important side note: If you're as white as I am, you'll want to rely on the printed menu. Not all of the staff speak good English as yet, though they try.“

“I have eaten pupusas and roast beef here and everything is very good. The scrambled chicharrón and cheese pupusas are very delicious. The roast meat is very soft. They have flavored waters to drink and I tried the chia one, very delicious too, the flavor is very similar to hibiscus.
It is highly recommended to go to eat here.“

“Stellar Mexican food! I haven't tried the Salvadorian food yet but the Mexican sampler I had was amazing - incredible flavor, very fresh, and not overly salty like most Texmex places in Dallas! They have all kinds of delicious pastries as well! Y Las cajeras - bien guapas!!“

“Ok. New place to us. Tienda y Restaurante Latino. Josie had tortilla soup and I had Arroz Mixto, kind of a latin take on fried rice with chicken, beef, shrimp and a fish fillet. I thought I tasted soy sauce but the owner said there wasn't. But it had have an oriental taste. The veggies are carrots, corn and onion with the addition of bell peppers and zucchini. The tortilla soup had more of a red broth like pazole or menudo than the usual chicken broth. It also had more actual chicken than Josie was expecting. Portions were such that we will both have another meal from it, though I COULD have eaten all of mine if I stuffed myself. Overall, much better than I thought when we first looked over the menu. Will definitely put this on our list of places to return to.“

“The food is good and everything but the same cannot be said about the Tamales to start with they put a little piece of banana leaf the size of a finger and from there everything is wrapped in aluminum foil I know it's for business and you should save but please yes They add a little piece of banana leaf, it's better not to add anything and regarding the bean tamales, sometimes they are delicious and other times they even smell like lime. Oh, I don't know what they use to make them. I hope you improve that please and for the meals it is good“
