Edit: Lies? This is easily verifiable. If I were you, I would stop before I post this review on the rest of the review sites.This place clearly doesn’t want business. They are supposedly open -Wednesday-Saturday. Yet, I have attempted to go to this place Wed, Thurs, and today and they are CLOSED! This is so unprofessional as a business to constantly close when you feel like it. I came here once, and really liked the Vietnamese Iced coffee, but the lady who appears to be the owner was not friendly and very arrogant. I literally gave her a compliment on the coffee and she responded with she knows. She also was very difficult when ordering. I asked questions about the Vietnamese iced coffee and she was annoyed I guess because she kept saying not all locations taste the same. After getting my order, I went back to the window to get napkins and she looked at me and told me to wait. I waited and waited while she stood there making drinks. Soon as I walked away, she came to the window. The coffee was really good, but not worth it for the drive to Dallas just for them to be closed everyday and the customer service. I’ll find somewhere else.

I love this restaurant. They are consistently good and the tofu banh mi is my go to. They carry products from other local businesses and I have been put on to several businesses because of them. They are kind and I love that they prioritize their well being by taking time off. You should for sure try this restaurant and then come back for more!

Sandwich Hag & chimlanh is one of my FAVORITE spots in Dallas. Can't recommend it enough. I love to try the seasonal items - the latest being the mandarin cakes and pandan chiffon cake being my favorites. My go to coffee is the coco da lat. I LOVE the grilled pork banh mi. All the seating is outdoors and there's options for shaded or sun. They also have markets and other events from time to time that they post about on their instagram.

My only regret was not coming sooner!The building is a lovely little complex of tables and covered seating, with a heater for cooler days and shade cloth for hot sunny days. Seating was plentiful and clean.The coffee is delicious and smooth, with options clearly thought out and made with blend in mind. Desserts and pasties are sizable and tremendously tasty without being too sweet. Great for sharing.Coming to the sandwiches, wow. They look like giant portions, but it’s all too easy to eat. The grilled pork is juicy and flavorful without overwhelming the pickled vegetables and aioli. The bread is tremendous, with a solid crunch in the outside and fluffy interior. Vegetarian options aren’t an afterthought, and are cooked to perfection, with sauces being mindful of dietary restrictions (by being clearly labeled).Highly recommend, and suggest bringing friends to try all the delicious offerings!

Love this hidden gem and James beard nominated restaurant. Our favorite dish is Chef Rey’s curry, honestly everything on the menu is delicious and well thought out. I have never had a meal that I didn’t fall in love with and think about until my next visit.

There needs to be an option for 6 stars for this place. The iced coffee is delicious. The sandwiches are delicious! The cà ri gà (chicken curry soup) with an extra one of their DELICIOUS baguettes for dipping is one of the best things I’ve ever eaten! Go here! Trust me, you won’t be sorry!
